🪦 Deceased Chelsea Lawrence / TanzChelsea - Munchie kicked out of two hospitals, home care and multiple treatment teams; Flagged and blacklisted by EPIC; Munched Herself to Death

I told my family there is to be no bullshit funeral, casket, or any of that weepy bullshit if I die unexpectedly. Burn me, put me in a coffee can, and go party in the Keys and spread me around.
Serious aside: talking to your family is good, but the way for this to happen is to pre-plan/pre-pay.

The funeral industry makes their money taking monetary advantage of emotionally battered family members. When you make an appointment and go the the funeral home yourself to talk about your corpse disposal, you can be as economy-focused and autistic as you want. What are they going to do, try to make you feel bad about dying?

Pick the options you want, sign the papers, pay or put it on a payment plan, put the receipt in your files and let your family know which funeral home you're registered at. (You can put a business card in with your advance directive, etc.) Then when you do die, family can call and say "listen just do whatever they picked in 2023, we're honoring their wishes."

Source: did that, personally getting alkaline hydrolysis, did shell out for a cool urn though.

I was bored and decided to see if I could find out any more about our girl's munch origin story.
I found all of the below from her Instagram highlights.
Absolute treasure trove of nonsense, highly recommend.

It appears her working on a disabled fashion show may have been what put this into her head.
Lo and behold...the very next day after the show she has 'seizures' and has to be hospitalised.

Chelsea tells everyone that TONS of people get diagnosed with FND each week! It's totally like MS or stroke! So complicated.

Fast forward three months and she has a shiny new toy - a rollator. Even though she has only been diagnosed with FND, she is having trouble walking.
And so begins an almost four year munch that will ultimately kill her.

I just love how she was all into the FND until she found out what it actually meant. She is right that FND is due to a problem with the CNS, it's just that its purely psychiatric in nature, and also total bullshit.

Wait, is that Chelsea sharing that recap? It fully sounds like someone calling her out for her bullshit, lmao. "To recap: she attended a disability thing and JUST SO HAPPENED to be disabled the next day..."

Agree. After having to pay 8k+ for a simple cremation of a parent, I prepaid all of my own expenses. Since we're all sharing, I'd like to contribute the fun fact that when you receive cremains they are often inside a heavy weight plastic bag that has been heat sealed closed within whatever container. Think of annoyingly heavy plastic wrap on a mattress or something. Now imagine your sad mourning relatives all gathered at a botanical garden where there is a bench in your honor. Next imagine they decide to surreptitiously release your cremains into some flowery/tree area---only to discover that for some bizarre reason not one of the men who normally have pocket weapons aplenty has a pocket knife. For the finale of your successful offspring tear through your bag with car keys like a kilo of coke. lol. So, prepay and tell your kids to bring a knife.

I believe she had back surgery or Guillain-Barre before this last munch segment requiring a stay at a rehab and "relearning to walk". I'll have to look through my own archive of her nonsense.

Funerals are for those left behind.

And seriously: I can think of no better way to start a multi generational family split than: “Yeah, just do whatevs with me after I die!”

Emotions are high, and it’s no time to get X number of people, with possibly vastly different ideas and beliefs, to figure out what to do.

Just saying.

you receive cremains they are often inside a heavy weight plastic bag that has been heat sealed closed within whatever container.
Often.
Sometimes it's just a shitty plastic bag, and they don't even bother gluing the bottom of the vault shut, and your beloved grandma drops out in a POOF cloud of ashes when you're handing it over to lower into the grave.
Let's just say my mom was pissed.

I said farewell to my mom years ago. Cremation, no service, only 6 people to view open casket. Under 5k

It’s a plastic bag within a nice (free) black box.

Still have her up on a shelf with the ashes of our last two dogs. Forever meaning to do something with all of them. :optimistic:

woah, wait, holy shit, she munched herself to death, too? i know, :late:, but last i looked at the thread was when everyone was speculating she was lying and claiming to be her sister. fucking hell, this is like the third munchie lolcow i've seen who managed to munch themselves to death. nothing of value was lost.
