I am maybe 70% confident Pat was paying to swat himself. There's still plenty of FUD to go around, but the evidence for it being someone else is largely speculative.

To take Occam's Razor to this shitshow, Pat being responsible is the most likely explanation.

Fatpig ordered one SWATing, and didn't pay up. Torswats got pissed off and continued to hit him free of charge, and Patirck decided that it was good PR for him, thinking that Torswats couldn't snitch on him, because it'd be snitching on himself. Now that Torswats is already on the news, he's doing scorched earth and puts everything into the open, and that's gonna fuck our beloved Man of Pig.

I think this is the most likely answer though, as disappointing as it might be. It's definitely the route I would have taken were I someone who engaged in this kind of faggotry. I can be swayed though, if we get a wallet address that ties back into Pat that would definitely be enough to flip my opinion as to which I think is more likely.

I've met some really unhinged people in my day and there is little rhyme or reason to why they attach themselves to their victim. You often find yourself asking, why not another cow who is clearly more hated or could produce better content as a consequence of swatting and those are smart questions to ask when it comes to somebody like us, who may have a plan or a motive in place that makes sense but for somebody unhinged, the reason for fixating and targeting somebody can either be complete fuckin' gobbledygook supported by delusional idealization or it can be "He was there, so I picked him, and now he is my target and it makes me laugh."
