I'll go all in on believing the Telegram post. Why not - I think he faked most of them anyway. It also leads to the fun possibility that Pat continues the fake swattings, starting with just lying like he's done a few times, but then trying to do his own attempt at it and getting caught.
Or however he learned of this swatting service he could do to find another one, perhaps even bothering to pay this time.
My hope - beyond all the consequences of his idiotic actions - is to find out exactly which ones were real and which were paid for. Because I've long had a suspicion that he set up one of the swattings when he was away at a convention - but Niki was ostensibly still at the house. It never seemed like the sort of thing I'd ever find out, but if this turns out to be true, we could see how careless he was about his wife's welfare.
