Am I the only one who is appalled when older trans decide to dress like slutty teenagers? Good grief, we get so much crap as it is, and I don't think it helps when a person dresses totally inappropriate to their age. I am not saying we can't be sexy, but Lord have mercy, the person I saw yesterday while shopping was just ridiculous - and that is probably the person who complains about being misgendered and how terrible people are to her. Well, dress your age and consider being at least a bit conforming to societal norms. It is hard enough being trans and making an effort, and sometimes I feel like some folks just wanna be attention whores, and that is more the desire than to be transfem!

Just my two cents!!! And please don't push this post into a rant against trans who are non-binary or don't "pass" well, because that is NOT my point!!! I just think we, as a community, would be in a better place by considering, at least a little bit, the binary world in which we exist, and the societal norms that exist (whether we agree with them or not!). We are getting a lot of pushback right now, and I think at least some of the pushback can be minimized by considering those norms, and not insisting that everyone has to yield to us - some middle ground would be helpful!!!

They are two completely different things. You are correct there. It's not fear-mongering as much as it is just fascinating. GnRH agonists (ie. puberty blockers) come with a ton of risks, but in severe outlier cases like an 11-month old menstruating, the risk-reward balance is more clear. In the case of an appropriately pubescent-aged child, it's just dystopian science fiction shit.
