Those cases refer to Swyer Syndrome. Those women may not have functional eggs but they do have functional female genitalia despite the streak gonads. They have female development and can gestate children with fertility technology. Males, however, go through a completely different process.
Right but even if it doesn't reach male levels, it can still be unfair. If we're talking a severe hormone imbalance, but perhaps not male levels, it can still be a problem ethically.

True, but their T levels still don't cross into the male threshold . It's comparable to pooners doping on T: they might have an edge over other women, but they still lose to males. The paper linked also puts CAIS at higher T levels despite total androgen insensitivity, strangely enough.
