Is Kiwi Farms a Hateful Site? - Why I don't think so anymore.

I used to be a trans-rights activist and was transitioning, and I believed this to be a hateful site.

However, recently I decided to de-transition. I became gender critical and saw the harms of transgender ideology. I realized that this site was sharing a lot of information that couldn't really be found elsewhere.

One instance was the case of Remilia. In standard media outlets, they mainly just talked about how she was the first female eSports player.

I had to go on this site in order to find the full truth, how she regretted her transition and likely became suicidal because of that:

Also I feel that many truths about transitioning are hidden in standard online spaces. A lot gets labeled as transphobic and many don't delve into the true effects of surgeries or hormones. It's believed that many are oppressing trans for example, but people don't often consider that the doctors and industries making tons of money are the ones doing the true exploitation.

Overall I'm glad I never went through with any surgeries especially after what I have found here:

Also I realized transgenderism can often be a toxic ideology and it's about males gaining access to female spaces often. It's likely why we see the rise of TERFS and conservatives being against the transgender ideology, not because they're hateful but because they have valid concerns:

So is this site truly hateful? I don't like how people may say that transgender individuals should commit suicide or go die at times. However, this site has also been a source of true and factual information that often gets hidden in other media due to being afraid of being labeled transphobic. Additionally, we have to look at the real causes that may cause transgender individuals to suicide. Words online can matter, but it's the doctors and medical industry doing these horrible mutilations that ultimately play a large role in perpetuating mental illness and causing these individuals to commit suicide. Yet, even after many botched surgeries, these doctors are often continue their practices and even get defended.

Maybe originally I didn't want to look at a site like this, but the truth is a lot of places just aren't sharing information. If you go on Reddit for instance, it's mainly high trans-positivity without the more nuanced discussion, many places online are just ready to label you transphobic, even though users there themselves wouldn't want to become transgender or date transgender individuals, or even be around them. A lot of this seems to come from the top down from billionaires funding, and learning about the Pritzkers it began to dawn on me how a lot of this is being pushed, possibly to create lifelong patients for the trans-medical industrial complex.

Biological sex is real, women don't have penises, men don't have vaginas. Somehow this simple teaching became denied in society. Besides platforms like this, what else can we do to fight it?

I don't think ridiculing people for their poor choices is "hateful", but comes an innate desire to better society.

Judging by how often users react to posts with the ❤️ sticker I would say it's not as hate-filled as it could be.

People who cry and squirm over the concept of hate generally are the only people worthy of its scorn, hate is a natural and important human emotion, not something to be deadned with pills or stomped out with kike psychology, hate exists for a reason.

We're not a hivemind, and there's minimal rules about what or how you should express here with fairly lax moderation policies. This leads on all sorts of people registering on KF and expressing all sorts of opinions over the subject of the thread. This includes people posting comments that can be hateful for sure, but then again there are people that the users are more or less sympathetic towards if they have thread here. Generally speaking, the people who have an active thread about themselves are not only outlandish, but also have something else going on for them that's not generally socially acceptable including being abrasive, unwarranted superiority complexes, sexual paraphilias or just plainly criminal acts like embezzling, grooming. These subjects can invoke (sometimes more overtly expressed) strong feelings but that is usually as an response to someone's actions they or someone shares voluntarily, and then someone else reports on this site. Most of people that cry against this site the loudest seem to have their own past posts available here, which may affect them negatively since they cannot just remove the information. Also when it comes down to certain subjects, the modern zeitgeist seems to be to separate people in to 'us' and 'them', and this extreme polarization also affect their view on people and communities that aren't included in the 'us' group, including kiwi farms.

tl;dr: this site is for autists posting on other autists, while getting into autistic slapfights with each others. Also I cannot into english.

I think this summarizes the KF experience pretty well. People here use language like faggot, tranny, nigger as well as expressing some very strong opinions that some might find unpleasant. But honestly I treat it more as a casual filter as it scares off the faint hearted. If you stick around then you are rewarded with info and discussions not found anywhere else. Unfortunately many can't get past the filter so they label us an alt right hate site before understanding the true culture and dynamics of KF.

You mean, fortunately, not unfortunately many can't get past the filter me thinks...

Nah from what i gathered this site is a lot like a shopping mall: Lots of things to see, overall nice people all around with many different tastes and interests, behind the scenes the crew is working there asses of to keep the air-conditioning going and somewhere there is a hobo pissing his pants and screaming obscenities to a dead pigeon.

From what I can gather from a few months of lurking (hopefully I don't seem like fresh meat that has no idea what I'm saying) it's like 99% reasonable and respectable people here who just like saying faggot or nigger sometimes here. Notice how nobody is saying "kill yourself" for mentioning how you gave transitioning thought. Getting actually mad or caring too much about anything that happens here is frowned upon, called retarded and given MATI stickers, there's not much hate that goes on here. There's a few strong beliefs in some threads but they're explained respectfully, and I don't think someone having an opinion you disagree with can be immediately called hateful.

Idk I'm just here to shitpost, regardless of if I agree with the majority of the sites opinions, and that's how it should be.

Nah. Here is by far the most civilised place I’ve ever hung out. I’ve been in mummy groups and needlepoint groups that had seriously insane online behaviour. I think the anonymity plus genuine diversity of opinions makes people behave - plus there’s the ‘we will laugh at you’ filter. That drives away the true fundamentalists becasue of there’s one thing fundamentalists hate it’s being laughed at. It’s like a mortal blow to them.
The more I am on the farms, the more I believe that the right to free speech and being able to mock stuff is what what keeps humanity from dropping into the abyss. It’s like a feedback mechanism that pulls us back from the brink either side. Humour absolutely destroys all forms of tyranny and fundamentalism, more than any kind of violent action. Laugh at the fuckers, what else can you do.
Anyway no it’s not hateful. I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe in parenting groups. Friendships in fire off the gates of the school. Husbands stolen, women shamed for snack choices. All lost in time like tears in rain

I love Kiwi Farms for the fact that it doesn't censor the truth or turn reality into some rainbow unicorn place so peoples feelings aren't hurt.

A lot of kids grow up with social media now a days, that brainwash them into believing biology and science are fake. That putting a needle in your ass will 100% turn you into another gender, and all your depression will go away.

Doctors and social media will have a narrative for financial gain alone. They don't care about your well being. Transgenderism doesn't exist. You either have gender dysphoria (a type of body dismorphic disorder) or dissociative identity disorder both of which can be helped with therapy and meds (antipsychotic or SSRI). I'm not a doctor and I don't have those problems, so I don't have a lot of knowledge on the matter, that's just my opinion.

What would be more profitable? Giving someone meds/therapy and that's it? Or convincing someone to take HRT which causes a bunch of health problems, and then a lot of very complicated (and expensive) surgeries? Their depression is never addressed, their body dismorphia is never addressed, which means they would seek more cosmetic surgeries (facial feminization for men and chin implants/masculinization for women). Those people become a cash cows of endless profit.

So is this site truly hateful? I don't like how people may say that transgender individuals should commit suicide or go die at times.

I don't think trans should commit suicide. I want them to get the right kind of help and hopefully detransition and become a happier individual. It's perfectly okay to be gay or whatever, and if you're a more effeminate man or androgynous that's fine too.

However when I see transwomen being not just misogynistic but downright violent towards "cis"women just because they exist or are more feminine, it's disgusting. If you look through the Tranny Sideshow thread you will see a lot of men talking about Buffalo Bill shit they want to do to women, those individuals I don't think should live.

A lot of the trannies posted here are just perverts or degenerate scumbags and can't be helped at all.

Obviously everyone here will have their own opinion.
