I don't really want to start an autistic slapfight, but someone's gotta.This is Julius Maddox. His BMI is roughly half a hundred. He looks fat.
He is also the world record holder for the bench press.
He is fat.
He's jacked, yes, but he's also fat. The two aren't mutually exclusive. It's not just this photo; I googled to be sure of what I was saying, and in particular, he has excessive adipose tissue in his abdomen, which is thought to be particularly dangerous over the long term.
Obviously, you don't get to his level without serious hard work and discipline, and I'm not saying that he's not an elite athlete performing at the very top level of his sport. I do think it's disingenuous to say that he's not fat or isn't at increased risk of cardiovascular disease simply because he is incredibly strong.
Also, I'm like 98% certain that all those fat sloppy terminally online dudes who say stuff like, "I'm bigger, but I'm really strong" picture themselves as this guy. Nice try, boys. You wish.
