Dylan was and still is an actor. Even though he played a relatively minor role he still followed and to a lesser degree was followed by the entertainment industry.

Cue the transgender debate in the United States. This was when Dylan announced he was trans and constantly barraged social media with his Days X videos. Of course, this attracted it's normal set of followers but every now and again minor and even major players in entertainment industry would boost him. That just created an exponential growth in his popularity. Then add in the puch for trans representation by media.

Well, here it is. Some very flamboyant outspoken and catty Troon that people in the industry are pushing. So Dylan gets to be the poster Troon for these campaigns.
