That's a good point, you're right. Still I find it hard to believe, that he allegedly didn't know about Frank Hassle and the 'Nazis and rapists' thing. Especially about the first one.
 
I dont think he will get anywhere with Frank Hassle, i remember a journalist contacting him about the boogie incident and he responded by sending the journalist a picture of his shit in the toilet :)

The question is what's the point in the documentary? I think the most likely answers are views, damage control and narcissism and I think the latter is the largest component of it. He thinks his story is something special and I think the best evidence is the book that he's apparently been writing for multiple years. Or perhaps the even better evidence is how much he laughs at his own videos when he watches them on Twitch. He's probably his own biggest fan.

Mike clearly thinks we have a "role" in the Boogie story, which is just weird when you consider that it sounded like he hadn't even considered approaching major characters like Frank Hassle until it was suggested here. Likely he knows that a lot of his footage with Boogie isn't enough (because Boogie is boring as hell and the only way he draws in views anymore is when he does something embarrassing or spergs out).

Boogie probably pulled him aside and tried to convince him that he needs to feature his pathetic, obsessed haters that spend all day on the internet mocking him and how he's just this kind guy with a heart of gold that is the target of unparalleled online hate. What would an interview from here do, really? It's just really odd to me that Mike Clum approached the Farms at all, and I can't think of a reason other than Boogie's nagging.

This is probably closest to the truth IMO. I'm sure he hyped Clum up about what rabid haters everyone posting here is and that he was convinced finding posters willing to go on camera would be simple, that we'd all be champing at the bit to suck up whatever morsels of clout we possibly could. I can see Clum realizing pretty quickly that it wasn't just going to be hard to get anyone authentic to bite but basically impossible because Steven had mischaracterized us so badly as these meddling ne'er-do-wells, when we simply don't have to get personally involved because given enough time and access to the internet he literally does all of this to himself.

I'm calling it now: either we don't see any Farmers in the doc at all, or if they do produce something it's with a lurker or someone else basically insignificant. I know they couldn't pay me enough to take part in anything like that, that price for me personally does not exist.

I disagree its a boogie fluff piece, if it is it will absolutely flop, however if he's a good filmmaker and draws his own conclusions it has the ability to be a really good piece.

I guess its a bit of a difficult situation for the filmmaker, if he intends to make these a series he's picked a hell of a starting point, if he destroys boogie then no one else will get involved, if its a fluff piece it will get no views. Im hopeful it will show boogie as he really is, an absolute train wreck of a human.

Let's pretend that this comment happened. Boogie has singled out one comment in a sea of comments where people constantly list reasons about why they stopped watching him.

SunnyV2's latest video on Boogie has 10K comments(!). I guarantee that majority of them discuss what a shitty person Boogie is or discuss why they stopped watching him.

It's also so pathetic that he even has to mention this. He's like a total suck-up brat who thinks "If I tell them that I'm a good person, then they'll THINK that I'm a good person! Yeah!!!"
 
@mikeclum One thing I'd be interested in is if you can interview Boogie's therapist. I'd like to know how long he has been seeing him and for how often. I would also like to hear if the therapist thinks boogie is making any progress or how he feels about boogie turning to drugs. A lot of boogie's content revolves around mental health and self help. It would be interesting to view an actual professional on boogie's mental health. If you can also take boogie to the doctors and have him be weighed there, that would be also nice.

as interesting of a twist this would be, I'm not so sure that's the case.

we're talking about someone who cheaps out on everything surrounding him and his brand. he doesn't commission artists for t-shirt designs and instead uses royalty free images slapped together with text he can't even be bothered to proofread. his video thumbnails are a similar story where he picks from his set of soy boy faces to paste on top of a stock photo. he doesn't hire anyone to edit his videos because he's perfectly content with the bare minimum of basic video cuts while overusing the zoom effect. boogie hiring an actual professional to produce a documentary about him is giving him way more credit than he deserves.

I also feel like a documentary slated for release over the summer is too much of a long-term career investment for someone who specializes mostly in short-term grifts, like a clickbaity begging video that gets delisted a few weeks later, milking cash with low-effort t-shirt designs created for free in under 5 minutes, baiting viewers to buy channel membership under the promise of exclusive videos only to back pedal on the promise once the 100 channel member goal is reached. he's far more concerned with immediate gratification. if he was actually capable of thinking long-term then his career probably wouldn't be as deep into the dumpster as it is today.

it's difficult to draw any concrete conclusions regarding the nature of the documentary since boogie's will be the pilot episode and we don't have a reference point with previous work. considering the involvement of a makeover, going on a date, and seeing a personal trainer, it's panning out to be more in-line with reality tv than some well researched informative documentary, and it may very well be produced in a way meant for the viewer to root for the subject and not against. I don't necessarily think that means clum is being paid, but rather, his content direction is gay and lame.

Boogie was coping hard at the end of 2022 as well on stream that PKA had turned on him and used him for clout but dropped him in 2019 after his fall off when they couldn't milk him for clout anymore (his usual excuse for basically everything). Forgetting entirely that he was on their show in March 2020 after his fall from grace which is now their lowest rated show of all time with the entire comments section shitting all over Boogie.

Of course that didn't stop Boogie from claiming in November 2022 on livestream that "I've had lots of PKA fans come up to me at conventions to apologise to me for how the PKA boys treated me." So, despite the hosts being nice enough to invite him on at arguably the time period when he was hated the most and instead him being torn apart by the fans, he considers the fans to support him and the hosts to not.

This shit about "Well, tell PKA to have me on" is cringe. It's entirely likely Boogie could make another appearance on PKA because they've had fallings out with people before and then brought them back on the Podcast. The biggest things that would be stopping it are:
1. The fans. They hate Boogie. PKA fans generally lean right and see Boogie as very disingenuous.
2. Boogie's fans. Boogie repeatedly said on PKA how his fanbase kept warning him not to go onto PKA because "They're Trump supporters". This could be false and just Boogie trying to suck up to the PKA boys by saying "I love you so much I'll even go against my fans for you!"
3. Boogie's last few appearances (outside of his final appearance where it was a trainwreck) generally all unperformed for PKA's average viewership.
4. Boogie is a spiteful bitch who will likely seethe and be annoyed the entire time about Kyle. You can even see how annoyed he was at Kyle in the PKA when he finally started engaging in the conversation like 30 minutes in.

Boogie is super keen to shit on the PKA guys, lie about them, act like other people need to get in contact with them FOR him but at the same time, he is in direct contact with them as he confirmed earlier this month, the PKA podcast is helping him and Wings organise their lolcow podcast (apparently, I'm not sure if I believe this because why would Keemstar no longer be involved?).

Weirdly when Boogie was talking about the PKA podcast in February 2023, he didn't talk about how the fans all adored and loved him. Maybe he took 5 minutes to check the PKA Subreddit when he made his cancer announcement and noticed it was 99% negative and either not believing him or laughing at him.

Boogie has appeared on 13 podcasts (12 if you count as a real 'guest' because the 13th was him forgetting the podcast was on and showing up for only 10 minutes) so they changed the appearance time for him.

Boogie's first appearance was 15th June 2013 on episode 137, it got 394k views when the channel average was 338k at the time so not a massive increase for how popular Boogie was at the time. The podcast was also 137 episodes in at the time, it's not like it was a brand new Podcast struggling to get attention so his fantasy that they were trying to get his attention for clout seems weird as they were already performing very well.

He then appeared on:
158 (239k against avg 219k),
170 (240k against avg 170k),
203 (258k against avg 208k),
227 (264k against avg 234.5k)
268 (221k against avg 193k)
287 (169k against avg 189k)
327 (144k against avg 155k)
356 (133k against avg 140k)
371 (157k against avg 142.5k)
414 (128k against avg 140k)
481 (202k against avg 200k)

Him starting to "under-perform" on their channel was PKA287 which was the 18th of June 2016 and they still kept him around even though he was apparently at his peak but he was gaining nothing for them. Since this is 2016, it's more than likely coinciding with the 2016 election and Boogie's audience refusing to watch the podcast because they hated the hosts for being generally right wing.

Boogie's videos even at times like January 2018 when he was appearing on 371 were generally averaging 250k to 500k views per video but he could only get 157k viewership on their podcast which was the only time since 2016 when he really broke the record of him under-performing and it's only 10% above their average viewership, not groundbreaking numbers in line with his own average video views of the time.

In March 2020, the PKA podcast was getting better average views per video than Boogie was but they still invited him on to their Podcast, meaning it's far more likely he was trying to use them for clout and to repair his broken public image (likely because since 2019, he's barely had any podcast appearances or interviews since no one is willing to work with him).

Boogie had been a relatively well known recurring guest on PKA and has tried to claim that he likely has been on nearly the most. He'd be top 10 probably, but he's definitely not close to being their most common guest since he only appeared 12 times in 620+ episodes, with all of his appearances being between 137 to 481, meaning he appeared once every 30ish episodes.

I've just randomly met a group of biggest Boogie fans and they all said they are sorry for Boogie badmouthing you. They also said that Boogie lies all the time, provoked Frank Hassle, doesn't have a therapist, verbally abused Dez (not physically), Lucy Foxx tells the truth, and that Boogie is over 400 pounds and they would not have HAMS with him
