This was clearly a Margo sock account (as is @margaretpalermofan, the second version of this sock account) but because it isn't her "official" account she is adamant she's never called Venus a mistake - only an accident. It's a weird thing she clings to, she thinks it exonerates her.

Oh yeah, it's insanely obvious, especially apparent in the "my strange addiction" show she "arranged" for Venus to be on. Venus is the subject and on a photoshoot, and suddenly here's mama, in a dolly dress and makeup. Look how mama is ALSO a doll!! And every interview Venus ever had, margo was right there by her side, soaking up the attention.

Real managers don't do joint interviews with clients, even if they're a kid. They might be on set, but they are never in front of the camera like Margo. Margo isn't smart, but at some point she realized that Venus was her only route to fame - or at least notoriety and attention. She hates Venus for it, but Margo knows she won't get accolades on her own. Venus never caused any of this, but this shit burns Margo up.

I reported it yesterday, and also emailed fullscreen to let them know that someone is impersonating a client of theirs on a monetized account. I figured they might take action if their bottom line was being affected.

Margo had a tantrum today, after being relatively pleased with herself for moving back to the EU and not bragging about her new hovel yet. Margo tries to justify calling Venus an accident (and shes reaaaaly insistent that there's big difference between calling venus and accident and a mistake). She claims it's a German word and totally common and just a cultural misunderstanding and Venus says she had accidents when she was a child that are clearly part of her evil plan, so how can poor mother be wrong? Do you not understand how hard it is to give and give and give and then have someone not love you back (PRO-JEC-TION)?

Actual Germans tell her that this thing is not a thing, and that her insisting it is firmly lumps her in the shitty parent category. Marglish ensues.

She isn´t completely wrong, but for me it sounds old-fashioned and off. Depends when Margo learned German ? Some 30 years ago it was probably (more) common, nowadays it seems just wrong.

At most I´d say someone might use it in a sort of ironically tone, but with quote marks as "unfall". If you use/take it at face value as is in context it´s definitely shitty.

And I'm aware of the whole "IQ is bullshit" bit. I think I mentioned in another thread that I used to be a member of MENSA and while the majority of these people had smoking high IQs they were complete idiots when it came to everything else. When it comes down to it, those tests are a flawed way measure of raw intelligence. I've always said that one of the best ways is to see how well you can use that which you have. Otherwise all you have is a head full of information and what good does that do you except maybe clean up when playing Trivial Pursuit.

Maggot might very well be smart but she's not clever by any stretch of the imagination.

It has happened in the past; usually the celeb just takes down that particular video that was flagged and moves on. You also need to leave your legal name and address on the copyright report, which discourages people who are just there to watch the world burn from making formal copyright reports; most of the persons reporting are only out to get compensation for the fair use of the materials, and / or have that particular video taken down. But generally speaking, there are very few circumstances where people have actual claims, so most of the reports are ineffective.

In Venus's case, Margo is not only happy to leave her legal info, she's mass reporting the videos and escalating the level of response - i.e. Venus made counterclaims, and Margo escalated to combat the counterclaims. If Margo had any definitive proof that the materials were hers, the videos would have been taken down. And both times Venus's channel was restored, all of the videos were still up, so none of Margo's claims were found valid by YouTube. However, when the claims escalate beyond the initial report and the counterclaim, YouTube is obligated to remove the content until the dispute is settled legally.

Anyway, that's a long way of saying it does happen, but rarely is someone on such a vengeance tour and willing to not only escalate a claim with zero proof, but do it purposefully to drag out the channel downtime. Mostly people just either want their content taken down, or to be paid to use the content (provided they have proof of ownership, which Margo does not.)

Huh. Weird update: one of my instagram accounts just got a message from margo's "fan" sock account! I don't think she's behind the fake channel, because she wants the link to it. It must be nicejewishmamma, aka Cara Cohen, a convicted stalker and former madam at the Mustang ranch brothel. She's got all kinds of weird SEO scams, I guess she was insulted that her "business advice" for Venus wasn't being listened to.
