I can't listen to these zoomer shit heads. Calling Lucas a 'she' makes my skin crawl. I know jersh gets mad at people 'tone policing', which i get can be annoying. But the behavior of denying reality gives me serious 1984 vibes. Reminds of Winston's torture scene, O'brien can float because he says he can. I used to agree with you, and i found myself pondering it some one day. I think making a huge deal about pronouns is sort of silly, but it's not something worth putting a ton of thought into. Most likely dude had to do it to keep from getting an easy strike. I don't fault him for that, i do think it's bullshit they have to do it and it's absolutely a power play by those type of fucks. I can't judge, a lot of the youtubes now get in my nerves as well.

All in all it's a pretty fair documentary, and i downloaded it to watch myself, if the archives go down let me know and i'll throw it up on mega or whatever.

I agree, the message has to fit the medium. If it gets taken down within hours of being posted curious people can't learn about KF on YouTube.
Tactical Consumption played by the rules, they aren't good rules but playing by them to communicate is acceptable.

Props to this. It's super rare to find instances of anybody doing actual research into the site and it's rich history and culture. He provided a fair documentary about the site, it's big happenings, it's history, and all without just sticking to a "doxing and harassment" site. I just hope he was fair enough to prevent a huge troon squad from trying to destroy him, this was definitely a risk for the quality. I especially loved the kiwis, too cute.

Surprisingly well done. The animations were very cute, and I enjoyed the little doxing speedrun showcasing just how simple and braindead the process can be, and it's not exactly like people were digging through Lucas' trash cans.

Very minor quibble, but at 44:44 he starts talking about people being SWATted while streaming and the first example he shows is keffals' fan VioWynn being visited by the cops. VioWynn wasn't SWATted, these cops were performing a welfare check on a minor.

The clip is funny though, and he doesn't explicitly say it's a SWATting, so it's not a real problem.
