It's funny watching Brianna and how desperate she is to have an opinion on Overwatch.
"Bastion is OP! Right guys? Right? That's a thing to say about Overwatch? Also butts lol."
Wu just loves to attach herself to controversy. As we all know, his attention to Overwatch has little to do with his interest in the actual game, and serves only to fuel his unending thirst for controversy and drama to attach himself to. He didn't buy the game because he thinks he will enjoy it, he bought it because wants to nitpick and expected things to be a little juicer.
Because it's so high profile, Wu and his ilk have been desperately searching for something to grab on to. Unfortunately, despite all of the agitation around the whole butt thing, the game has been relatively uncontroversial. The launch went as well as one could expect. The game provides a wide range of empowered male and female characters of various ethnic backgrounds, as well as non-human characters. Also, the cartoon-like depiction of violence is very mild and comparable to Wu's own game, so you really can't even make a case that it's too violent or gratuitously or gory like Doom. The game seems like it was designed and executed to be the most inoffensive, widely appealing, and accessible team FPS game imaginable. More than almost any game out there, there is something for everyone, unlike Wu's game which only really appeals to Wu and other people who suck at most games, and have a fetish for skinny, white, bitchy trannys... but that's another matter entirely.
Pretty soon he is going to loose interest in this game, and try to manufacture some new outrage about something else. Assuming the next major event for Wu is the Steam release, I fully expect some kind of media blitz from his cronies around how the negative reviews of his game are not because the game is unmitigated garbage, but because misogyny. I'm really looking forward to reading Cory's next piece on Boing Boing about our poor, perpetual victim, Brianna Wu.
I can't imagine Wu will be truly happy until a AAA game like Final Fantasy or Mass Effect game has a sequence where the main character can interactively chop off their own penis, and even then he will still find something to complain about.
