I don't follow this thread so every time I check in I am suprised this vaginal windsock still has custody of her kids. Not that I think the state should go around kidnapping. I'm just suprised they haven't gone feral and started rooting through neighbours trash for food scraps.

This woman is awful. She has no business homeschooling. And her going on about being a widow is sickening. Has it occurred to her that children lost their father to suicide? Maybe she should focus her attention to them.
Every single thing on God's green Earth is about Melinda. Everything that's useful to Melinda is good. Everything that Melinda does is stunning and brave and nobody else is capable of doing such things. God himself has Melinda's personality, views and priorities because Melinda is so perfect. Everybody and everything that inconveniences Melinda must be destroyed without mercy.

This thread is about Melinda's shithole.

I'm not sure where the other Melinda thread went.

I am going to be kind to Melinda and her baby; because the baby will always deserve empathy and being a new mum can be hard, however many times you’ve done it before though I do find it extremely frustrating that she’ll hold herself up as a role model while struggling with the very basics

Wearing a front facing carrier is bad for the baby’s hips and mum’s back. If some babies want to see the world too much to settle on mum’s chest (top of their head should be at least high enough to kiss) then they should be worn on the back to face forward. Facing forward is a risk for hip dysplasia in babies and places a lot more pressure on mum’s lower spine and can exacerbate diastasis rectii, which is very likely in a mum with so many prior deliveries.

Melinda, I’m sure you’re still reading - most areas have sling libraries that will loan slings or carriers for little/no cost and will demonstrate the best ways to wear them. Please don’t be too proud. This even fits into your ‘recreational degree’ thing.

Baby carriers are fine for their hips, you just don't want them in them for too long. No more than two hours. You also want to make sure you have the proper one for their age, check the position of their body, and make sure they have full range of movement of their legs. This means nothing should be restricting their movement.

I'm confused. Aren't we all supposed to be a bunch of evil degenerate heathens armed with torches, pitchforks, & extremely correct misinformation? How on this slightly green planet did we end up discussing baby carriers instead of showing butthole? I'd say I'm slightly disappointed but I'm deep into a bottle of blueberry sortilege + Holy Grail Kush so I shall remain happy af regardless of the conversation. Carry on, hiccup, burp, puzzle piece away!

I was a single father for over a decade, and I have a ton of kids. I was calling bullshit about all of the stuff she claimed can't do because of all the spawn she has when she came to her thread.

This is one of the best threads on the site. So far we discussed: cooking, outdoor activities, philosophy, cooking, religion, ethics, anatomy, psychology, relationships, secular and religious law, pop culture, art, conspiracy theories and many other things. It was much more fun when Mel was posting here because she was usually the one to initiate such conversations by saying something stupid and\or incorrect.

And now we'll discuss some gardening. She's actually doing the right thing, prepping the ground now, but using hoes is a the wrong tool. It can be done but its very inefficient and will need to be gone over several times to be deep enough. She mentioned greenhousing lettuces. Good idea for off season but lettuces have tendency to become bitter when exposed to too much heat and light. A better plan would be to put them by the chickens, as chickens eat bugs that like to eat lettuce like snails and slugs. Their ground scratching helps aerate the dirt between your rows. You get a twofer. Your chooks help your garden and get free food.

Aren't those carriers of parasites that can be passed to the chickens? Leucochloridium paradoxum for example uses snails as intermediate host, makes them more visible to birds and infects unlucky birds if they eat an infected snail.

Of course problems can always happen. This is melinda we are talking about after all. Any chickens maybe catching a bad bug would probably be the least of her problems. I doubt she coops them properly so they are far more likely to die from predators.

"And over here is where we buried the children's hopes for any existence better than the marginal one Mommy's home'schooling' has prepared them for. Mommy got to go to real schools that prepared her for college. The children don't get to have that, because fuck the kids, amiright? They might start thinking that they're better than her or questioning the way she's raised them and we can't have that, can we?" That's ok, the world needs ditchdiggers, too.

Didn't really help Mommy, did it?
To be fair, that college was on par with a street shitter school back when she went there and accepts over 86% of applicants so they're not very choosy on who they let in. Probably similar to how diploma mills will get anyone in because they can scam the government for school loans for the student.
