2/ I just downloaded the stream. When does he start screaming about killing Jaden exactly? Around 6:30:00 but any time before then?
3/ Looks like he starts watching Jaden's stream at 5:20:00 and goes to his screen only at 6:15:00. (He progressively gets more and more drunk.) Hmm, that is weird. Catskill, NY is a small town. If his family has connections and money to help pay for the damage, the DA may have agreed to drop the charges. He also could have gotten probation or entered into a diversion program (many states have those for first time offenders if it’s a lower-level felony) and then petitioned for expungement upon successful completion of the program. Not really sure.
Law is a very, very complicated topic, every state is different and every county is different. Rural counties where everyone knows everyone are probably the most corrupt, because all these people grew up together and know each other, so if you’re well-respected and/or have friends in powerful positions (like if you’re friends with the local county judge or DA), they’ll generally help you out.
