New Nicktoons game revealed today. The most surprising thing about it is that Fairly Odd Parents is present. Wonder if Nick got the rights back or if this is an America exclusive. Big deal as they stopped using the franchise in games after 07 due to Nelvana having the rights in other territories.

It looks like shit. THQ never died with these brutal IP mishandlings. I want a good dark Invader Zim platformer.
 
The THQ/Nick relationship started back in 92 when THQ published Ren & Stimpy games. Most of which were bad but Veediots is an okay game on the SNES. The best Ren & Stimpy game was not made by THQ but made by Bluesky (who worked under THQ a few times) and was Stimpy's Invention on the Genesis. Some of the devs who worked on Earthworm Jim worked on that one and you can tell.
 
Time to put the debate to rest - Aang v Korra

Might be a fun fighting game. Hopefully it is good unlike the last Avatar game.

Katara was always best girl (I can say that because I was a kid when I watched Avatar).


Avatar would have made a billion dollars if they'd ever done a full AAA RPG-like thing. I had a couple Avatar games as a kid. Most of them were dogshit, but the best one, which had fuck all to do with the main plot, was the 3D one with hub levels (it was a common design back then, but the closest I can think to compare it to now is Metro Exodus).

Was that the PS2 one? Because I remember child me loving it, to the point that me and my cousin played it almost daily, it was my second favorite game of all time (first being Ben 10: Protector of Earth)

Last time I played was 15 years ago though, so if I went back to play it today, I probably would find the game absolute garbage lol.

They probably still have the chance if they ever wanted to, I know I would probably buy it day 1 for sure.

I mean, the roster is actually decent this time compared to 2, barring the still weirdness brought by TMNT (Seriously, just add all 4 Turtles, this is getting ridiculous). If gameplay is still good, this may actually have a chance at succeeding, especially if the inevitable DLC is also strong.

As for DLC, kind of hoping they bump up Fairly Odd Parents and Invader Zim. They could easily bring over a character from New Wish and give us the new and improved Perri (Poof) the fanbases is in love with. With Zim, Dib is such a no brainer by this point. TMNT is obviously going to get another character, so if they do 4 again I am hoping they pull out another surprise - perhaps Otis.

She is the main character of an entire series, so she gets priority. As much as people are split on Korra, it still has a genuine fanbase which grew with the series being put on Netflix. Also, wouldn’t be surprised if Katara ends up DLC.
