Apart from that I couldn't stand the morbius memes, they weren't funny to begin with, but after a while they just devolved into non humor. It became about referencing the fact that something was a meme, instead of something actually funny.
It's almost as bad as rage comic memes, where it went from expressing ideas to just "look I know what internet funni is, I'm part of the joke".

I'm beyond fucking tired of all these "tomboy" memes. They're extremely annoying and reddit. I've seen them grow from their origins in occasional posts on 4chan following the site's cultural tradition of circlejerking how "niche" anons' tastes are, to the couple of screencaps/doodles that hit mainstream through twitter reposters, to its synthesis with the "uwu step on me muscle mommy" shit. It's not only turned into this really retarded omnipresent r/animememes shit, but it's also completely lost any concept of what a "tomboy" actually is. They're all just bimbos but with short hair and an equally exaggerated obsession with sports/working out instead of lipstick and bubblegum or whatever. Just take a look at this shit:
