Edit: Reading it at the moment. It’s even worse because the trustees had planned to give the report to staff on Monday (ie yesterday) and then abruptly changed their minds. Perhaps because they didn’t want the tame “whistleblower” to give it to the media.
This line from their statement makes me think the report is going to be less "Mermaids are awful and need to shape up" it will instead be "Mermaids are awful and need to replace 90% of their workforce with trans BIPOC."
Citing media reports and an “unacceptable risk” to the authors
They never would suggest their own activists are a risk to anyone. So it has to be in line with the lunatic's chosen way. As you say it might be released to the media at which point there probably would be backlash. Hell, worst case scenario they might be suggesting Mr Pro Pedo should not have been forced out.
Of course they might just be using the risk as the standard issue excuse.
