Unfortunately your IQ and attitude are both shit, John, so I don't know what you can do about that.

Absolutely right, John. It can't possibly because the trailer looks like shit or that they're remaking a treasured franchise that does not need to be remade. It's because dudes can't handle women in scifi and there have never been women in science fiction movies before. It's fucking 2016!!!

French fries, anyone?
All hunger aside, that Ghostbusters trailer was cringy as fuck, nor did it do very much for old fans.
Even the SJWs they were trying to please were triggered because the black one wasn't a scientist.

I may not like ToS but thats a shit opinion she has. She also fails to mention the "warp 10 episode" which is arguably the worst episode in Star Trek history. Its essentially decanonized.

So does she like Deep Space Nine or just not know it existed?
... ah, who am I kidding.
I feel like she would identify with Kai Winn who does anything to get what she wants but shes basically a religious nut job toward the end.

The black one wasnt a scientist in the original either. He was basically Normal Guy.

Let's have a look at those examples, shall we?

Ghostbusters. Most people have expressed their disdain by bringing up the fact it doesn't look or even feel like Ghostbusters, more like a particularly bad SNL sketch. Just awful CGI, OTT acting, and that the jokes fall flat. Nothing to do with them being women.

Hillary. The latest revelations about how good she is with tech, plus her history with video games, as well as the handling of Benghazi (bullshit blaming her for angry Muslims, but it's still contentious in America for some reason) plus the fact she is a politician through and through. Bernie Sanders at least seems human through his work and actions. Nothing to do with her being a woman.

Voyager. FUCKING THRESHOLD. Schizophrenic captain, potential plot thread of Starfleet and intergalactic terrorist cell being forced to work together ignored, Potential bigger bad than the Borg underutilised, Neelix, Borg children, Naomi Wildman. All annoying. The only good character was the Doctor, and his story of finding increasing sentience was also rather underwhelming, and I say all this as someone who LIKED Voyager! Nothing to do with Janeway being a woman.

Woman that wants to give presentation at work. Who is this woman? Is she the office bitch? Is the presentation one of those awful 'Sensitivity training' snoozefests that just makes everyone angrier and more stressed at work? More data is needed, but I'm going to say it's likely that it's not because she's a woman.

Anita. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Good God, every rational person hates her for being a self-righteous, self-aggrandizing, lecturing, bossy puppet who steals people's let's plays footage, misrepresents evidence, destroys academic principles while playing at being a victim that she brought upon herself. Nothing to do with her being a woman.

John is full of shit, movie at 11.

Man, I thought that if anyone wanted to revive Ghostbusters they should be better than the Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon. not worse.

I mean, that cartoon had tokenism (a goth woman, a black man with less character than Winston, a disabled man that played basketball) but at least it feelt it tried to be like the movies and the cartoon and was more progressive than the new SNL sketch turned in a film.

Didnt this get mentioned from time to time? How was it ignored?

Meh. Anita isnt as bad as Zoe or Wu. The other two are outright fraudsters.

Why does online feminism care so much about shilling movies? Mad Max: FR seems to be a success because is a good film no only because a 80's female character, Star Wars VII's Ray is as plain as many other fantasy adventure films where there is a female warrior involved so dunno why is she "powerful" outside being the current protagonist of the most powerful marketing driven franchise in earth (and after Anakin, that is not exactly a defacto Positive ), and the new ghostbusters film is going to bomb hard and/or be hated with passion after everyone forgets the drama as we enter deep to the TrumpORHilary years.

Seems that the only accomplishment is making people even more cynical about social progressive causes in the long run as many of the most vocal female feminist seem to be more marketers than activists.

Yep. Perhaps it would be worth looking into contacting people who have done interviews with Wu?

There's no "perhaps" about it, it's exactly what we should be doing rather than going crazy over her retweets. I've contacted the writer of the article I screenshotted above through her contact form, which was ignored and also sent a tweet and was instantly blocked. Hm.

It may also be worth contacting Scifi concerning their new show and if they are aware of the possibility they have are helping to perpetrate a fraud.

I think thats why most people here stick with mocking tweets. This guys are tight as hell even when they actually hate each other.

I think a good start would be to ask Frank Wu (@thefrankwu), Lubitz (@WickedGood), Kiva Bay (@KivaBay), Maddy Myers (@MIDIMyers), Amanda Warner (@AnimatorMommy), Mikah Sargeant (@Mikahsargent) and Georgia Dow (@GeorgiaDow).

I mean, Kiva currently hates Wu with passion but I doubt she will tell you anything outside blocking you.

Even a non-response is valuable though.

In fact, from certain sources, like supposed co-workers, no response is better than a yes or a no on the question of "Have you ever met Natalie O'Brien?" because it shows that they are afraid to even acknowledge this person's existence for some reason. If someone asked me if I worked with or met SomeoneWhoTotallyExists, I'd either say yes or no, not simply begin blocking people and ignoring any e-mails regarding them.

It's important to get people on record refusing the question or ignoring it entirely.

The problem is that most people has done that and got the not responses. Even people here have asked to other Wu's acquaintances about Wu with the same results, we now this for years. And not talking about people asking like ween or loaded questions but making otherwise inocent remarks that get them blocked/banned.

Still, maybe is a good idea keeping track of that.
