So who's gonna break into the RLM studio and steal the pictures? I'm sure autists have already put together a floor plan/overhead layout diagram using the videos as reference. All they need is to figure out the crew's schedules, which they can do by monitoring the building over several weeks. If there is a keypad lock they can use binoculars to watch them entering the code. It should be a piece of cake.
You joke but my first reaction upon Mike uttering words to the effect of "these will NEVER be on the internet" was: "okay, so how long until some weirdo breaks in".

I hope nobody does, but challenging the internet is never a great idea.

The way mike phrased it I half expect Jay or Tim or Calkin to leak them as a gag.

The bizarre user reviews they read were pretty funny this time but I hope they cut this trend of spending time on this stuff. Every movie's gonna have retards spewing their hot takes, just look at the average letterboxd page. It's disingenuous to represent a movie's reception if you're cherrypicking the worst of the bunch
Late and autistic because of site issues, but I agree with most comments here about it.

I usually like when they get a little pretentious, because it’s funny when balanced with who they are. (Middle-aged, Midwest, white guys). Like dock workers having a charcuterie board as their Super Bowl snack.

But this time the pretentiousness was cringe and overdone. I’m glad they liked what they watched for the most part though, especially Mike.

Upcoming Videos
Hey everyone! We're currently watching some movies in prep for a Half in the Bag episode that is sort of a catch-up episode but specifically for some of the so-called "blockbusters" that have come out this year. Top Gun, Thor: Love and Thunder...stuff like that. And unless plans change, we're planning to have a special guest out soon for a Best of the Worst as well as a re:View of the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie.
We're also already starting to gear up for October/Halloween videos. Planning has already started for the set of this year's Halloween Best of the Worst episode and we're going to be shooting some re:Views covering the Creepshow movies real soon as well. Booooooo!

That would be great to have Freddie Williams for the TMNT movie since he's done so many of their comics.

They should do more Best of the Worsts and re:Views and cool off on the Half in the Bags

The former two are them having fun, the latter is work. The difference shows

Excited for the 1990 TMNT re:View it should be gud
I figure they're doing the ratio they want, BotWs are probably kinda gruelling even though they edit it down to the parts where they get carried away. I bet most of the panel recording session is them sitting around going "uhhh... fuck. Anyone?"
And meanwhile HitBs are more of an involved production exercise and they probably enjoy that side of it outside of slumps.

I'd love more re:Views though, I won't argue with that.

I figure there'll be a skit on Half in the Bag or something where Mac or Colin sneakily take a photo of it and leak it on their social media.

When you're old and lose a lot of weight, you're still going to look like shit because it's impossible for your skin to become taut again and it just sags everywhere. He's probably healthier than he's been in decades.
It also doesn't help that he hasn't changed clothing sizes despite losing all the weight. I used to just think he was maybe lazy or cheap, but he's wearing a Cobra Kai shirt in this video so I would assume he's been buying new clothing and it's a conscious choice to wear sizes 1-2 larger than he should. I just wonder if it's for RLM specifically or if its a comfort thing or what.

It's not age, per se, it's because he's lost weight without adding in a good amount of weight bearing exercises.
Young people get it too. They still have the posture, core muscles and overall musculoskeletal of a fatman, just without the weight.

He doesn't have an athletic frame to begin with, which doesn't help. With his body type, he needs good, healthy, flexible muscle to compensate for the fat he lost. Some people have a lot of natural muscle tone, others don't.

If he were to work in a lot of core exercises, flexibility training and weight bearing, he'd not look like a cancer patient.

Either way, that T-Shirt video was more akin to a blog entry. Isn't their Patreon at like $60k a month?

Patreon Update:

Hey everyone. The new Half in the Bag should be up soon. Just dealing with some usual youtube nonsense. The episode covers Jurassic World: Dominion, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Top Gun: Maverick. So many colons!!

Also, unfortunately we had to postpone the guest visit we had planned but hopefully we can get them out here before the end of the year. The original TMNT movie re:View will have to wait a bit. But we are still working on two re:Views videos for the Creepshow movies that we'll be releasing in October as well as a Best of the Worst. We've started picking up props for the Halloween Best of the Worst set and will start constructing that soon, which we'll be sure to post pictures of that process here!

Non-punctual and homo-sexual, but the site was down a lot...

That Dick the Birthday Boy video really rubbed me the wrong way. I understand if Rich wanted to keep the pictures private, but it was a real dick (the birthday boy) move to make an utterly pointless video about it when they could have just not brought it up at all. The line about their "special guest", aka C-list celebrities, being able to is probably what felt so annoying about it... really felt like a weird bow to the Hollywood celebrity system they've been preaching indifference and cynicism towards most of the channel's lifetime. Like, it's fine for wife-killer Patton Oswald to see because he is better than you lowly peasants.

I'm glad it's already been mentioned, but it was my first thought that the way they did that some crazy was going to break in and steal it. I honestly kinda hope it does happen, it'd be funny to see that cause and effect. But yeah, that video was lame and my sponsor skip addon-on listed the end as the highlight and I'd have done well to that moment. Oh no... am I joining the RLM a-lawg squad who are sometimes here...? Nah.

To me it came more across as 1) Mocking their more creepy-stalkerish fans (i.e. people who do things like make the VR set) and 2) tease the idea that some special guest would be appearing and 3) as some has suggested maybe to establish they/Rich may have some form of IP rights over "Dick the Birthday boy" shirts. I think most of the video was more ironic/mocking then serious. But at the same time Im a BoTW only normie (maybe watch a RE:View or other video if I was interested in the movie or what not).
