Joe and Micah write weird perverted shit because they are perverts, i would kinda hate them a lot less if they just admitted they want to write wank material for degenerate freaks rather than trying to frame it as liberating and important. and although i do think his work has interesting and well-articulated themes, GRRM wants to write about people suffering, and i read it because i enjoy it, and that’s fine. he should just say that, instead of insisting that it’s realistic to imply that 25% of medieval women died in childbirth

Like here she admits that face redness is her main issue, which can definitely be a thing without booze being responsible, but who knows.



Remember she also attributed her routine to clearing up these ugly scratches that she says she got when falling down in the bathroom. If you go through the comments, she's sort of trying to explain what she used. (I wouldn't call it her "routine" because she specifically stopped using her usual stuff like retinols/retinoids and just kept her face moisturized, which is not that earth-shattering. Until the wounds close, there's not a lot you can do skincare wise because you're not supposed to put any product into an open wound! Just moisturizing/sealing it with something is fine.)
