Yeah Michfest was a music festival for women. It was hosted in Michigan on some tree farm. It closed because of trannies kicking a fuss over it not explicitly catering to them. Michfest had a sort of don't-ask-don't-tell policy for trannies because women are weak hearted and stupid in the face of tranny hardship. But that wasn't good enough, so trannies and tranny supporters had camp tranny across the way from Michfest.

The Michfest organizers actually did explicitly allow the trannies in after camp tranny was getting some traction and I think some prominent troons even got escorted into the festival grounds. But this is never brought up by troons complaining about how they got painfully excluded from hearing caterwauling "singer songwriters" in some random stand of trees. But even though the trannies got exactly what they wanted, to the detriment of the community they were demanding things from, it wasn't enough. Sound familiar. The organizers of Michfest gave up and decided to just end the festival. Another festival took its place and it has a strict unmoving no tranny position.

As for their death rates, I remember trying to do a deep dive on trans deaths in 2020 and see what the most common cause was but gave up because the great majority were MTF black prostitutes being killed by black men. And then a random accidental shooting of a FTM in Oklahoma. I gave up because there's no way you can say "Black on black murder rate is high anyway, this isn't significant" on Spinster without having 3 different kinds of cluster b havers descend on you for your heckin racism

There are creative ways of concealing statements that would otherwise be called racist by using "progressive language". For instance, you might say "when considering the intersection of marginalized identities it is clear that the increased rate of violence coincides with blackness and not gender diversity" or some such crap.

As if any more proof was needed that, yes, they have always been like this - begging for money to "fight on the frontlines," the most critical and pressing issue of which is and always has been women having anything to themselves. It's like a '90s GoFundMe. The more things change! I love vintage tranny griping because there's almost a sense of dramatic irony to it. Most people used to think of them as utterly fringe, but just look at them now. Inspirational.
