Don’t get me wrong, Marchi and Toye are confirmed lying pieces of shit but their wheeling and dealing might be based on a kernel of truth - which may be that Vic really is a creep. I can see how it’s hard to sue for defamation if you’re actually a creep.

Maybe no one in this shitshow is a saint. Rekeita and Ty certainly look like grifters now. My interest in their takes has completely evaporated.

Far as I remember it they discredited the victim and retracted the article shortly after. Despite archives existing showing him calling 12-13 year old boys sexy on FB. His career certainly wasn't ruined, he wasn't dropped from any work or anything.

Well, Nick's main fuck up was recommedning Ty when he was out of his element in this case. But overall Nick has done a lot of good for Vic's reputation in general since he provided him with the PR he needed to weather this storm. I can't really imagine what would have happened without Nick's input. It would have been much worse and the other side woudln't have been exposed as liars to as many people.

Nick was cited in the lawsuit as giving the defendant's counsel the playbook for their case which is why watching his streams was justified as billable hours

He transferred it into a trust. Barb and him both owned the house, and they transferred it. This creates a gray area that may have removed the protection on his home. It was transferred September 17, 2019, so shortly after the bench dismissal. This transfer was brought up in the fees hearing. A judge has discretion to decide if it's still protected or not. He no longer owns the home, but this is a not so subtle attempt at hiding assets. For an estate lawyer, Ty fucked up again in his specialty.

Sortof. Based on Damian's social media activity they warned him in secret and gave him like 6 months to prep himself, then only posted the article kicking and screaming. They then were super quick to help once Damian threatened to sue the kid into recanting.

It's important to note that once that article hit, our intrepid Kiwi Sleuths found live public comments from Mills calling a 12 year old jailbait and openly lusting after similarly aged children on his Facebook account. The recanting also did not recant the evidence, obviously, although Mills and his enablers immediately claimed that the kid recanting to avoid being harassment sued (ironically what the TCPA is meant to prevent) also meant all the kid's receipts didn't count either.

In short: ANN was basically forced to out Mills as a nonce, and were super quickly to help him hide under a rock again. But it's pretty much confirmed he's a raving nonce.
