So this came up recently - basically you can set orientation and pronouns in the Sims now. Clothing and hairstyles are set as "masculine" and "feminine" and can be put on any sim.

Pronouns however don't translate to anything other than dialogue boxes and as clothing is just masculine or feminine and can be mixed, it has no impact on gameplay. Consequently because the game is built on male sims and female sims, a lesbian sim will automatically reject a "trans woman" sim because the game still classes them as a man. Sims default to bisexual, so either this simmer is deliberately making sims lesbian to be oppressed, or his sim is so repulsive personality wise that he's getting rejected (sims can't judge on physical attractiveness).

(I'm also amused to see Woohoo is called "faire le crac-crac" in French).

There’s two kinds of Gayden.

The ‘classic’ type is the one who’s actually a lesbian. Without going into the psychosexual neuroses behind this, lesbians who are into yaoi are common. I remember seeing two girls (and they both knew they were girls, to be clear) dress up as Dave and John from Homestuck and make out for readers on tumblr. Which if anything is closer to actual gay male behavior than the crywhining we see on here. Some of these girls might be bisexual, but they are legitimately attracted to the female body and will not have an issue fucking another FTM.

The newer type is the straight girl. This is where the problem comes in. They don’t realize that the slightly older ‘gay trans men’ they see online are not solely and entirely attracted to biological men. They’re the ones you see breaking down that guys aren’t into them anymore and getting mad that gay men won’t fuck them. There were a few outliers like Lou Sullivan in the 80s but otherwise there were basically no exclusively attracted to real men FTMs until like five years ago.
