Wow, I didn't expect seeing Mitch looking so... normal, he kind of has a Bruce Willis vibe to him. I especially like how you can't see his towering ears on the second panel (as they're respectively covered by the panel side and the speech bubble), giving the illusion of said ears drooping down along his spikes\hair. D'aw, he looks like a sad little bunny!

I also had a blast with all the Hugbox terminology being thrown around, and the digital line art is positively awesome here. The thinner lines especially help with the panels where the characters are standing farther away from the viewer, or whatever the term might be for the opposite of a close up.

1) Panel 3 sez "...if he'd only open his eyes."; panel 1 has his eyes wide open.
2) Mitch is John Goodman? In panel 2 he looks like a disgusted James Hetfield.

3) "Never thought Magi would be into the Goth Type."; I thought Magi WAS painfully super-Gothy himself. So much so that I kept hearing Andrew Eldritch's voice whenever he spoke. Also, isn't Megagi so Goth she could be a Suicide Girl? ...or Sack Rome?

IRL, 'almost' men like Magi-chan never get the girl no matter how valiant they are. And I dig harsh realism in story telling... but having said that I'd be stoked if Magi-chan and Spunky got together because they're my two favorite characters in all this! I didn't think it'd be possible after he psychically orchestrated Spunky's beat-down, even under duress.

And hey, let's give Dr Bill Schwartz plenty of time to check if Robee's actually dead. 5 or 6 years ought to do it.

Megagi seems more like punk, not goth. They might seem similar, but to punks and goths... the difference is like black and white neon purple.

1) Yeah, like it was already mentioned, I meant it more as a figure of speech. But you are also correct that it is a confusing line to put in there.

2) Now I might have to give Mitch a Metallica-themed catchphrase. Maybe "Gimme food, gimme fries, gimme salad on the side."

3)Yeah, Spunky/Megagi is an interesting character development. Originally I was drawing her with some kind of bizarre animoo-mohawk... thing...

...and needless to say, it is a terrible design. So slowly over time the hairstyle had kinda transformed into the... I dunno whatever it's called. The escaped asylum inmate look.

As for Magi, I've decided when I get Pixar to make this movie, I'm gonna have @MasterDisaster voice him.
