I think the thing that gets most people is parallel parking. Depending on who is giving you the test and which state they're in, they can be sticklers if you don't do it in the right number of motions, get within the appropriate distance of the curb, and might outright fail you if you bump the curb.

My guess has simply been that the prosecutor didn't want to go full bore on him, but also didn't want to let him out without having some kind of way to control his post-jail (or prison) behavior. If he walked after a year in jail on the misdemeanor, I believe that he could have basically gone right back home to live with Barb, assuming that she would let him. My understanding was also that he would not have been required to register as a sex offender. With a felony and a lengthy prison sentence potentially hanging over his head, the prosecutor would have leverage to dictate terms for Chris' release, and possibly get him to register as a sex offender.
I hope Chris gets sentenced to life without parole and plus gets ass raped by every convict in Virginia plus they get a day off their sentence for every time they rape Chris. And then if he ever gets out I hope he gets the shit beat out of him every single day and all his tard bucks stolen.
Unsure, unless the prosecution has something else. What Chris should be worried about is the jury, and I can see him demanding one. He just seems like that where he's hell bent on getting whatever his defense is now out there. As some of the legal eagles here have said, Virginia is one state where the jury can recommend sentencing. So if he goes in there, being well, Chris, I can see the jury taking a strong dislike of him. Even without makeup or girl shit on, the dude looks like the classic, greasy haired scumbag, and seeing him glaring at the prosecution when they bring stuff up, interrupting the proceedings, making stupid noises, or screaming out things to jury is not going to go the way he thinks.
