Seriously, the real help she needs is a steel toed boot launched very hard into her ass crack, some hard boundaries and rules set and enforced including a full time job, and no mollycoddling. Whatever "mental illness" she has is likely 100% the result of weeb shit, terminal online behavior, and strangers online asspatting her when she needs to grow the fuck up. She isn't troonz either, she's just scrambling and angling for more attention on social media.
And maybe her mother is a POS. But maybe her mother is simply a woman who has reached her limit with this fat bustdown years ago. She lives with the bustdown and has to deal with her obnoxious, childish behavior, one eighth-assed cosplays of children's characters, and active persistent whining like a toddler online for attention.
If anyone needs and deserves competent professional help and a nice relaxing vacation to a beautiful laid-back tropical resort...it's Sara's mother and father for their thankless service of putting up with this unproductive, repetitive horseshit for years while other parents proudly show off photos of their adult children who aren't out there shaming the family name for strangers calling her "queen."

Trooning out appears to be the final form of many cows. In PT's case it's probably just another one of her obsessions coupled with her need to shine. She will never be a kawaii Nipponese idoru. But everyone these days is trooning out and it's something anyone can accomplish just by changing pronouns.

Right now it's just this "Don't call me ma'am" thing. I'm not sure if it will progress further. If she found the funds to lop off her sad pancakes then she would have an inevitable major breakdown when her troon phase ends. The changes from testosterone would cause mental issues too when the phase was over.

I'm not 100% convinced that she won't go back to identifying as female. Her track record with phases is pretty clear. Look where the church thing went. She never talks about it. And before that she had idoru phase, believing she was actually haffu, the Rukia phase, the sexy female character cosplays and lolita. Getting upset when cute Japanese girls who the audacity to cosplay as Yuna ect...

I'm curious to see where she'll be with this in a year.

Naw, she is legit mentally ill and it got worse in her 30's. Mentally, she is about on par with a pre-teen. But her parents have given up on her and now seem to resent dealing with her.

Her parents are just as liable for how PT turned out. There was no intervention when she started her delusions of being a haffu. She was the baby (only) girl which probably contributed to their gentle mostly hands off approach to her. There were many very glaring red flags that were obvious to outsiders on the internet. If we noticed how fucked up she was, surely her parents knew too, especially since PT was vocal about how her parents didn't approve of her hobbies(obsessions). They thought forcing her to be employed and going through college was going to make her grow up. Obviously it didn't work and now they're stuck with a mentally ill woman child who was never taught basic life skills especially how to cope with her emotions.

I remember after she finally finished her BA in English (after three or four schools and five or six years), then completely failed at doing anything with it, her parents offered to send her back to school for something like being an x-ray tech. I vaguely recall her thinking in a chat or something that she'd get to dress up like a sexy nurse, and I believe this was after the whole "sexy substitute teacher" thing. They kept on trying the same stuff over and over before finally throwing their hands up a few years ago. Debbie's mental illness aside, Pixy's parents were and are incapable of properly wrangling her, which seems to be a fairly common thing with lolcows.

yeah there's def a lack of wrangling and mom being nuts certainly does a lot
tbh the whole hypersexualization and wanting to disown her dad leads me to wonder if there was something with a male authority figure (not necessarily her dad), but it might just be her doing some good old fashioned tard perving mixed with reacting to dad not doing enough to protect her from crazy mom

Is there a reason she is now being openly trans but still going by her “dead name”? Wouldn’t a more masculine name like Sora or Randy alleviate her obvious distress with being associated with femininity?

True and Honest real boy Sarah has never had any interest in making any changes to herself. She would rather magically changing the publics opinion of her to fit her internal image. She doesn't want to put serious work towards it ever. Including something as simple as a new "nickname."

She expects you to read her mind, see who she believes she is, and act accordingly. Being forced the change her name for you to realize who she REALLY is inside is abuse.
 
You posted that before I could get the chance. Yeah... she did that for her birthday and we'll likely hear about the fallout from her mother...
