I have no idea about the Homophobia and Anti-Semitism (perhaps, I suspect, because she's neither of those things), but Jill's a bit of a sad story. She makes fun videos about fencing for plays and movies, Tom Scott did a video with her and then it was revealed that, shock horror, she expressed some faintly pro-TERF talking points like 6 years earlier.
There was a huge outrage, Scott (who's a huge TRA who says all the right pronouns and did so even before it was the norm, like he was making videos about how trans women are women back in 2012) immediately threw her under the bus, demonetized the video and gave a huge donation to some trans charity. Jill apologized as hard as possible and talked about how she's different now and she was only a TERF because she fell down the alt right rabbit hole but got better, or something. Obviously it didn't help and people still call her a fascist.

As I understand it, the UK is also very restrictive with carrying bladed weapons. However, if forged to the correct stiffness, even a dull rapier can run someone through. That's why all practice rapiers have to be made super flexible. A similar logic applies to daggers design only for stabbing, so to circle it back to the original topic, an extra thick hat pin would make for a pretty good self defense weapon.

I read the article, and for 90% of it I was kinda sympathetic at how he got absolutely fucked by Uber. Their product was faulty, they bypassed Volvo's safety features that apparently would have detected the victim, and they reduced the number of employees per car in a likely move to increase profit margins, but the corporation got away with it scot free and all of the blame is on this poor dude when both are at fault. Wanting to be heard when you're a person up against a billion dollar corporation is a plight I sympathize with. And then I read the closing words of the article (emphasis mine):
He killed a homeless woman and he just wants to separate it from himself because it "wasn't his true self" and that it's in a past life. No motherfucker EVERYONE should know that you're the first person to kill someone while operating a self driving car. It should and will be tied to you forever. This is akin to pedo trannies changing their names when someone calls them out for their behavior so that the name becomes unspeakable.
Also, aren't name changes public record? So if someone searches his name in a government database wouldn't the new one return as well?
She actually got removed/resigned from Nebula, that education YTer union thing, so I'm betting that she will when the trans stuff blows over. Her Patreon has kept increasing since she left. I don't think she'll make a video about it and I can't blame her too much.
