I am having a hard time believing anyone with the mental capacity to use reddit would seriously believe you could identify anything from ashes. I support this, but I wonder how it would theoretically play out in court. You can already sue over this since you can sue over anything you want in the US. If I were a judge, and a doctor told me ‘my 17 year old patient said they would kill themselves and that I would be a murderer if I didn’t do [procedure]’, I’m not sure how much money I would award the plaintiff. Especially if they’re still fertile as an adult.

I still love how the term completely lost its meaning in the past 4 years or so. It was supposed to mean "trans-exclusionary radical feminist", but now you don't have to be a feminist, or radical, to have the entire internet coming down on your head calling you TERF.
Those colors are so ugly. I love pink, but the tranny shade is just awful. At least with the blue/white. They all clash together. These flag designers have no concept of color theory, but I think the tranny flag offends me most from that standpoint. They all just throw colors at the wall and decide they "mean" something, and usually the worst colors are chosen to go together.

I was wondering why some mutuals, friends, and users that are definitely not PC at any capacity put pronouns in bio, there's also the very real possibility that they fell into the gender woo rabbit hole which I don't blame them for at all I was in their shoes before or maybe if you believe in rigid gender roles and presentations you're going to find the gender woo explanations rational and reasonable. Pretty gutsy for twitter to tell me to put she/her in my bio using the language of the country I'm in since it isn't exactly LGBTQ+ friendly at any capacity. Do other social media platforms push pronouns in bio features? I'm aware that when you create new accounts part of the sign up process is selecting your gender/sex (no one cares about the distinction) and now you can put "other" or customise it. Deviantart gives you they/them pronouns by default while instagram doesn't annoy you with it.
Comments from a tiktok video, the video itself can be summed up as "women don't like males and that is a problem!" the pendulum swung back so hard that young people are rebelling against what was very basic and uncontroversial feminist 101 rhetoric. If someone took the video and it's corresponding comments into the 2010's you would get laughed at for being a MRA and because it comes off as "what about the MEN!". I'm seeing more and more comments that literally just say "it's wrong to be afraid of men :/" and I'm wondering whether they want to be anti-feminists without coming off as MRAs/incels/republicans etc.
No movement or ideology is perfect and the 2010's feminist wave/movement as well as the previous waves have garnered a number of critiques that don't come from an ill place. I just find it fascinating that generalizations, something that progressives handwaved so easily, is now at the center of the gender debates and you're not a BIGOT for excluding males (AMABS) as a whole, which includes cismen in their language

the issue of trannies working in women's shelters is extremely concerning, they're put on a pedestal where they can do no wrong. and if they are acknowledged as wrong, people will walk all over the victim to try to bend over backwards for the tranny and minimize what was done. there have already been countless examples of troon sex predators and it's VERY CLEAR to the people who are actually looking that trannies in women's shelters = rape. but no one cares about women, so they will let the troons in anyways. what do you think will happen when you put a mentally unstable man who is quick to anger in the same place as a woman seeking shelter from an abusive boyfriend?
dv shelters are going to bend the knee in a matter of years (at most) . when the rape and sexual assault stories inevitably come out, people will have sympathy for the troon or just deny the victim's story. we're at a point where if a man puts on a dress before assaulting a woman the crime will be covered up and people will take his side and defend him while not speaking a word for the victim. people will tell the victim "you deserved it", "you're making it up", "you're just a TERF", or just blame her. "you were assaulted by a transwoman? tough shit should've respected her pronouns and validated her gender identity". that's where we're at, it's come full circle.

Christopher Hambrook was permitted to stay at several women’s shelters in Montreal and Toronto. A serial sexual predator with a history of raping a girl as young as five as well as a woman with disabilities, the man who calls himself Jessica used residency at women’s shelters as an opportunity to subject female residents to voyeurism, sexual harassment and attempted rape. Why would a man like that be permitted in any sort of shelter where women have been so severely abused to the point where they dont know if men can be nice.
