It was a civil case in Texas that protected a woman's right to abort under "a woman's right to privacy." Henry Wade was a DA in Dallas County that enforced anti-abortion laws then. In 1973, the SC ruled that a woman was constitutionally protected to terminate her pregnancy.

HOWEVER, it was never officially amended as federal law. It was mainly used as an argument against states blocking abortion for 50 years. Now, that case is thrown out or overturned. So, now, the state has final say on abortions.

The funniest part of this whole thing is that the Dems did it to themselves. Roe v Wade was very shaky grounds from the start. Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg said so and that it wouldn't last forever.
The Democrats had 50 fucking years to try and expand their reproductive rights policies and set them into a much firmer foundation either through the passage of a federal law or a constitutional amendment that guarantees the bodily autonomy of every citizen.
They didn't. They either shrugged their shoulders and said "good enough" or else actively used the fact that Roe v Wade was a fundamentally flawed ruling with a unstable foundation as a means to scare their constituencies into voting for them. They never believed it would happen.

And now it has, and they're as responsible for it as anyone.

some states has laws on the books to criminally invesitgate miscarriages. Life is so sacred you guize, funny' how you can end such a sacred thing so easily with out realizing your pregnant. not only would my tax payer money will go to funding all these little bastards, but we'll be wasting money investigating miscarriages. Yay!
 
I'm really not invested either way but after listening to fucking retards talk about how governments have the right to take away your job if you don't get a vaccine, the hypocrisy of these cunts whining about the rights of the individual is hilarious.   1. An acceleration of the brain drain from red states to blue states as educated and upwardly mobile women and couples decide to leave at an even higher rate than they were before.
  2. A significant increase in crime as more children are born into dysfunctional circumstances, increasing the burden upon the community, the taxpayer, and altogether making red states even worse places to live.
  3. The terrible optics of the inevitable news reports of scores of women dying from botched, backstreet abortions, for which the Republican Party will almost certainly receive the blame.
  4. An almost certain increase in the fertility rate of demographics which pretty much unanimously vote Democrat at every level of power.
A massive own goal if ever there was one, and for what? An entirely sentimental victory which is of no practical benefit to anyone.

1. The current migration trend of upwardly mobile individuals and couples is already so ridiculously weighted from Blue to Red due to the massive cost of living and tax burden in the former is, at best, going to slow down a little.

3. I don't deny that this shit will get hypersensationalized in the media, but most states will reach equilibrium at something that looks like European abortion regulations.

To my knowledge not a single act of Arson was committed. During the 2020 riots the Federal building in Seattle was under siege every night. The gayest terrorist group ever ''Jane's Revenge" proved to be unable to back up their threats, nights of rage my ass.

JR is a piss poor terrorist group and most of their attacks are incidents of Vandalism that can be fixed with a power washer or an insurance claim. Their most effective actions, Arsons (which I believe there has been two of) are at best minor annoyances that do more harm than good. Name is shit too.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a hero available for the US right now, at least not without leading to a purge which would lead to both the dems and republicans turning against him for fear of breaking the status quo

considering the fact that the US still exists despite the anarchy by the left during trumps year and the fraud and politicking during the elections, I doubt that people destroying shit will cause any significant change, its almost like as if people are getting used to shit like this happening and just dealing with it
