Lolcow farms’ board /snow/ has an unhealthy and bizarre fixation on Charls/Effina and might have more archived stuff about this, but he’s been losing grip for a while, Effina casually talks about their difficulties, or has in the past in her instagram comments, it is completely separate to his departure from MDE which allegedly is because Sam ratted him out to the IRS for hiding income, this is the widely repeated rumor, I would like to see more concrete evidence for the fallout however.
What's their fixation on Charls about? That he acts insane on stream? Sam is the most interesting character by far in terms of lolcow potential, I never thought any of the other MDE crew would've been noteworthy.
They’re a mainly female farm site so I think they’re miffed at her disingenuous editing of her photos and obvious white fetish, which I’m pretty sure Julian and Joey mock with their Yassification selfies if it isn’t some gay hazing Sam has them doing, also apparently she was barely legal when she moved in with Charls. It consumes their Sam general thread, just constant bitching about Effina, that’s also where the archives of Sams extensive gay shit/pedophilia DMs are housed.
Maybe there's truth to him going a bit crazy, but that doesn't explain everything that has happened. Why is it that Andy Ruse, Eric Hayden and others seem to have broken off contact with Sam as well? If Chuck has truly gone nuts, why are they still collaborating with him? Maybe the latter is not the case anymore and I'm just out of the loop, but there definitely seemed to be beef with Sam coming from more than just Charls. Regardless, it's very surreal to see him even acknowledge MDE after years of memory hole-ing and denying the fact that's where the overwhelming majority of his fans came from.

I am a big fan and that is it exactly. It's like finding a recipe that you like so much, you make it every week for years and then suddenly they stop producing one of the ingredients. It was all of the ingredients together that gave it the distinct flavor profile that made you like it so much. If you take any individual ingredient out, it becomes just okay. A lot of depth and nuance is lost.

Nick Mullen is a strange man, he’s barely funny and his interviews about his personal life give me the creeps, like his whole shtick about making himself seem poorer than he obviously is, is off putting to me.
By his own admission he was a barely functioning alcoholic for most of his adult life, may have been molested, was poor, experienced a psychotic break due to coke (I think) and was relatively unsuccessful in comedy prior to cumtown.
