In the dude's defense, he's a pretty smart chap. I like his mad experiments, and his ongoing battle to snatch science back out of the hands of MegaBusiness™ and return it to the people (see his website, The Odin). But I'm sure "being willing to delve into difficult or unpleasant conversations with people" will fix things! Especially given that TRAs' response to any disagreement or unpleasantness often consists of calling people bigots and threatening to rape them.

I wonder. Logically, PornHub's goal would be to adapt their algorithms to promote content that will promote as much user engagement as possible. While trannies are hyper-coomers, they don't exactly need much encouragement to look at porn, and their porn will turn off normal people. My approach would be to write an algo that heavily promotes trans porn to people who view the stuff, but hides it from people who don't seek it out. That way the average users wouldn't be bombarded with it, lose their boners and go elsewhere. It makes sense if they're actively trying to push trans, though. An algorithm that just pushes the most-clicked content regardless of users' engagement patterns seems kinda Web 1.0.
