I'm going with Agree because I think the real reason is that they have no shame.

They're ugly as shit and MtFs get the societal asspats that FtMs don't. It makes them think it's OK to go out in public with anime socks and the worst wig and makeup job you've ever seen on a 50 year old man. And because all troons are narcissistic, they think that the people telling them they look good to avoid getting an HR complaint actually mean it.

Failed MtFs are just more extreme, funnier and easier to make fun of at a glance in every way. Most of them look like a fat middle aged man with little girl clothes on. Most FtMs on the other hand? As someone who got sucked into Touhou gacha, that's just pathetic. Sperging here, but every player is referred to as a girl (for the uninitiated, Gensokyo—where the franchise takes place—has only one somewhat-prominent male character out of over 180 named characters). Given the target audience, most of the demographic are male, and as far as I'm aware no one's raised a bitch fit over being forced into a female POV.
