It's in Byuu's thread, but basically some vtuber named "Asahi Lina" showed up who streams Asahi Linux (the thing Hector Martin is working on) and there's pretty strong evidence that Asahi Lina is Hector.

To expand slightly, Lina is part of a predominantly troon vtuber programming group which mysteriously showed up just after April 1st (roughly when we expected the update that happened today to originally happen), and vtubers with voice changers is an excellent cover for a troon on the run.

The consensus is that Lina is Hector, but there's other members and a private discord involved...it's all a little too perfectly timed to be completely unrelated to Byuu.
