Wanted to drop in to add the Anime Expo regulations thing might be because most of Japan still uses coof restrictions. I have a friend who works for a JP company with offices in the US and they're still running things pandemic style despite the entirety of the US offices asking if they could ease restrictions. They got told no.

Beyond the whole appealing to the California crowd by being so *progressive* it might be if any of their Japanese sponsors are showing up and if they've got JP guests. Haven't looked at the event because I haven't cared about AX since 2013, but I at least has some relevant info to share.

I could believe that. I was at a concert recently where the headliners were from Europe, and I suspected the Wuflu nonsense (just a vaxx passport or negative test, which the venue said was "only required for shows which said so") was a contractual issue rather than what the promoter (or anyone else involved) wanted. Ironically it didn't stop me from (possibly) getting the Wuflu there.

Vic had a recurring role as Ikkaku Madarame. We'll see if he comes back, though I doubt it.

Similar to above, we have redditors discussing who's going to replace the evil Vig Lasagna and Quinton Flynn.

If this comes back on appeal, this smells like damages!

It should be noted that Michael Fitz-Gibbon looks far more like a Weinstein-esque sexual predator that I wouldn't trust around kids than Vic or Flynn.

My friend filed a police report againstLady Tora. He has some sort of disability and he just kept bitching about her for the longest time instead of just making the report. I'm glad he finaly did. She showed up at his work and started trouble but his boss and coworkers had zero backbone and refused to defend him. So he quit his job out of fear for his safety. Keep in mind, he's disabled. His boss did nothing to protect a disabled worker against this cunt.
