Is the sister also the woman pictured on the right in the pic of Elephant Dick dressed up as an elf? If so, that's quite a height disparity between the sisters. Have puberty blockers stunted "Asher's" growth by that much?
The kid's funky name probably stems from the peculiar ethnic history of New Bedford. You had a lot of Jewish immigrants ("Asher") and a lot of Portuguese immigrants ("Machado") back in the day when the city was one of the world centers of the whaling fishery.

Here is a thread on A&N. The news story is written in a very circumspect manner, but the summary is this: 2-week-old AmHole bled torrentially. Troon came to random A&E. A&E staff found gauze packed inside, which was removed. Obviously they could not do anything apart from blood transfusion and packing in new gauze. They dialed up the butcher, who informed the doctor of a procedure that can "stop the bleeding in 20 minutes". Sensibly the A&E refused to do it and attempted to send the troon back to the butcher by helicopter, but it was a long wait, and troon blamed transphobia. Eventually troon was fed up and had his wife drove him to the butcher, who put in a few stitches and the bleeding stopped. Butcher declined to comment to reporters.

Eh, I doubt she’s part Jewish. Asher is a popular stupid FTM name, because it’s a currently trendy baby name. Real Jewish boys born in Massachusetts in 2000 would be Josh, Jake, Dan, or Jesse. There’s still a lot of Portuguese immigrants even today, so while her mom is American born (Dawn Marie) her extended family likely isn’t. (The church they go to has three Sunday masses and two of them are in Portuguese).
The sister is dating a guy named Caeden but he’s a real guy, just a little white trash, which is standard for this area. When you hear about Massachusetts being wealthy, New Bedford isn’t part of that. It’s a rust belt city except because they’re on the coast they still have a fishing industry, but because fishing is so hard on your body there’s a lot of heroin addiction.
The family had a son, Aiden John Machado, who died before 2007. Maybe someone else can find details.
She’s an assistant manager at a craft supply store and works at a dollhouse store. The mom calls her ‘my little warrior’, so I wonder if there was a childhood illness of some kind?
