That's exactly what he claimed he did though. Before the YT upload of "I'm crypto rich", he admitted as such when doing a standard Twitch stream. A random chatter mentioned bitcoin offhand and Boogie replied to this spontaneous comment by saying that moments before the stream started he actually just processed a withdrawal of $600,000 worth of crypto (he claims to trade crypto through CashApp btw). He was saying he never had to work again and that he was crypto rich because he claimed to have sold this supposed $600k worth of crypto. It makes no sense for him to refer back to this time and say "I should've sold then" when his whole story about becoming crypto rich at the time was because in his own words, he already sold $600k worth of crypto. Not long after he was bragging about selling $340 worth of "I survived 2020" Boogie2988 themed t-shirts well into March 2021. His lifestyle didn't change at all except for settling on a car less than 1/5th of the value of the car he said he couldn't wait to buy, after totaling his Grand Marquis.
His lies regarding crypto and finances are especially interesting to me. I was putting a lot of time into this thread when that happened, primarily focused on identifying his many different alt accounts, mostly those on Twitter and some on Reddit. Not long before the crypto rich phase started, the whole Gamestop $GME WallStreetBets to the moon saga was ongoing. Steven couldn't handle an internet based trend going viral both IRL and online and not being a part of it. He seemingly transformed into a veteran day trader overnight, or at least tried to convince his audience that was the case. He even tweeted that he emptied all of his savings + his bank account balance and invested it into Gamestop...the night before the crash happened that wiped out almost all of it. He never followed up on this.
By then I'd already ID'd a good amount of his alt accounts and shifted to keeping tabs on his finance/crypto lies, which I quickly learned was effectively impossible. He'd lie about lies he told the day before, he changed which crypto assets made him rich depending on the day and the coin's performance, when he sold them / no actually he kept them, but then he sold them at record highs before buying at record lows again. YaBoi's effort posts are awesome on their own, but they're even more impressive when accounting for just how much work goes into keeping track with the record amount of lies that Steven makes about literally everything in his own life. Keeping up with all of them is legitimately challenging.
Here's Keemstar claiming Boogie makes less than $5,000/month on YouTube btw. This vid was uploaded 2/24/20 when Boogie's views, sponsors and ads were substantially higher than they are today.

Boogie hasn't archived most of his streams in the past months because he knows full well that's where he's the biggest retard and doesn't want people clipping them.
