I used to have this viewpoint but personally what it boils down to for me is what it means for someone to feel like a man or woman. I do believe there are people who feel genuine discomfort with their biological constitution, but that is, at the end of the day, a mental illness that needs treatment, not coddling or acceptance. As they transition, they adhere to social constructs of gender, and it makes me wonder if they would even exist if being a man or a woman didn't carry different social implications and roles.

Oh, I think the notion that you can know what it is to "feel" like another gender is pretty absurd on its face, but I think there are probably people who would like to try to be and present as another gender for some reason. I don't think anyone would care if that was it and people were honest about it, most people would probably go along with it, but the Cult demands you affirm what they wish reality to be rather than be honest about it simply being something they want others to do because that would put the power in the hands of others to potentially reject your wishes. The ideology is what provides them the confidence that their language games will convince others to do what they want. For some it's simply trying to get others to grant them womanhood and for others it's leveraging that into trying to manipulate lesbians into having sex with them. I think many believe that the other gender has it "easy" and switching will make life easier.

I think the typical use of gender dysphoria is similar along with the gathering of multiple mental illness labels while being fervently opposed to actual treatments beyond popping pills. The mental illnesses here are less the ones they plaster all over their profiles even if many likely have developed a number of those especially depression. I figure that in a "perfect world" many of these people would simply gone after something else rather than actually be people with severe mental illnesses, not that cults don't prey on people with mental illnesses.

The troon is an interesting creature because of the intersectionality of its mental illnesses, narcissism, ideology, perversion, etc. The common demographics and backgrounds are endlessly amusing. The venom and reactions (GENOCIDE) towards those who don't obey seem to indicate they tend to believe that if everyone else would affirm their wishes that reality would change accordingly. The only reason it doesn't is the latent hate and bigotry of J.K. Rowling leading her to personally deny them each individual happiness simply to spite them.

I suppose I'd simply prefer to believe they aren't all literally this way as it leads to some rather unfortunate implications about multiple things in society.
