I'm not really convinced about this. I agree that they fetishize the opposite sex, gay relationships and also sex after consuming too much fanfiction or porn, and then sound pretty much the same as your standard transbian, but I wouldn't say they are turned on by IMAGINING THEMSELVES as men the same way AGPs do with women. For example the whole "underwear / clothes" gender euphoria. When men post this, they mean they masturbated in their sister's underwear or something. FtMs don't post about getting aroused by boxershorts or stereotypical male clothing. Or posting pictures in the men's changing room or bathroom. Or when FtMs proudly show off their mastectomy scars, it's not about "omg I am so hot, I'd fuck me" but it's how they are finally "free" and "themselves". A lot of them also don't try to masculinize their bodies more, which you'd think would be part of it if that's the fetish.
So yeah, I don't think it's an exact parallel when it comes to motivation and behavior because they still have a female sexuality.

Maybe it's a attempt to shirk cultural misgony without having to comparise feminine behavior.

How much of a clusterfuck must someone be to fail at making a single friend through childhood and adolescence? Up until high school, one of my friends used to run to the school library as soon as recess began, and spent his whole time there devouring books. He was a fat loner, an annoying know-it-all weirdo, and an edgy fedoratheist in a Catholic school, and still managed to make a friend or two as that mess.

I knew someone who looked like white Bucky Miller and had serious problems with the concept of "not stinking", and he had friends and even a girlfriend once he learned how2hygiene.

I'm no social wonder myself, and still have friends whom I met in 6th grade.

Parents, this is what you must tell to your children: if any adult at school - principal, teacher, counselor, even school nurse - wants to talk to you alone or with a small group of other kids, SAY NO and tell me. I will meet them with you.

This is the problem I have with leaving the space in that word. "Trans Women" implies that they are women, like "Tall Women" or "Icelandic Women". Whereas "Transwomen" makes it more obvious that like "Seahorse" they are not actually women(or horses).

Even the wierd home schooled kid I knew in college had friends. They were always a little weird - home schooling fucks you up, even when your parents aren't super fundie - but still fun to be around. I was in computer science, so my friends/classmates were all nerds and misfits, but they all still had friends and girlfriends. Even the literal tards at school had friends! And they were mean and very creepy.
