They don't work. It's a dying chunk of sewn up arm flesh. It can't get erect, and even when artificially "hard" has all the firmness of a limp noodle.

I've read this whole thread from the beginning twice and even with everyone's (horrifyingly) thorough contributions, I still have so many questions about exactly what happens during the sausage surgery.
Is the it sewn right on top of the clitoris completely covering it? If so, wouldn't there be air pockets inside since it'd be like sewing a sleeve onto a shirt? Or is it placed right above it?
They also have to make the new urethra right? So does the old one get burned away with the vaginal canal? Re-routed??
And when they burn away the vagina, is there scarring filling up to close it like when you're digging holes in Lode Runner? How do you remove a hole anyway?

For clitoral burial I've only seen one paper mention this but the clitoris is de-epithelialized and is enclased in the phallus. ELI5: They skin it first.
Rerouted. Perineal urostomy (perm or temp) or Suprapubic (usually temp) until they get a new fake urethra through the phallus.
They scar it together. Usually they have problems with gaps occurring and this can cause pain and infection . Don't know too much about this though.

Yeah… arm skin is very thick and is attached to the underlying meat. Dick skin is literally just a thin covering on top of spongy erectile tissue. Even if you’re circumcised, the skin still moves freely up and down, it’s obviously just attached behind the glans.
This picture immediately brought the term “Frankenweenie” to mind, and searching through the thread I’m surprised it’s only been used twice before.

Tbh I've wondered this too.
They talk about clit "burial" and my best uneducated guess is they skin the clit, then position the meat sock over it, so the outside of the skinned clit heals into the inside of the dead meat sock. So it heals together so when the victim tugs in her play doh pipe, it has some sensation in the base. Basically a tiny clit burried under a mound if dead skin and fat. Truly pleasurable.

So... if the bologna fails/rots off (which it will do 50% of the time during a ten-year window), what happens to the skinned clit? Does it have to be removed along with the necrotic arm-dong flesh, or do they disinter it and just... leave it out there exposed to the elements without a protective covering?
