He has a point and doesn't understand the exact point he has.

In Romance languages, most nouns are gendered to have masculine or feminine articles associated with them. That's how the language is structured. English, being a clown car of misery, usually refers to a person with masculine pronouns, but this is just because of how people have spoken for a while. The true way to refer to something where the gender is unknown would with the collective neutral...aka, they/them, which has existed in English since god knows how long.

I'm not gonna get into the same song and dance regarding how deceptively simple his taxes are, but he's complaining about taking his tax documents to H & R Block back in 2011, when online content creation wasn't even considered a job. At that point the job you said you had was "video producer," and the only difference there was in terms of equipment was the partial utility use. But of course Phil is always the smartest person in the room and an actual tax firm is staffed by a bunch of gig economy idiots who don't know how life works.

Fucker's definitely getting audited and is afraid to admit it. You don't just declare bankruptcy in the previous tax year and get off the hook scot free. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that this is the reason why he has to put more work than he normally does into his annual income tax.

If I were self-employed, my getting a fuckin' burrito isn't considered a business expense unless I'm a food reviewer or consuming that food is part of my content (mukbang) . His delivery isn't a business expense but you can bet he's gonna lie about it. I think all of us are hoping the IRS audits his ass and slams him for tax fraud.

I thought Phil was taught and knows Latin? I mean I know that Latin's a dead language but everyone who actually speaks, understands or knows about a language that genders all of its nouns in the masculine-feminine or masculine-feminine-neuter categories knows that the specification is arbitrary when it comes to inanimate objects. Also, there's other systems of grammatical gender that contrasts animate and inanimate objects for example.

In any case I have no idea what the hell he's even getting at in the first screenshot, I mean I know there's a bunch of retards trying to rape every single language known to man by making it function like English to make it more "inclusive", but if you speak a language that genders every single noun you know that for example in my language a door isn't a woman just because you refer to it in the feminine gender and a closet isn't a man, nor do we need to "ungender" those words which will just make our languages cease to function properly and just make them English 2.0.

He often talks about food on his streams. It's somewhat of a meme that Phil will mention what he's eaten the previous day and he is known for trying food on stream. Given that - and the scale of this fraud being relatively small on the face of it - my suspicion is the IRS would not pursue.
