It's amazing to see the unfair scorn and pure vitriol detransitoners/desisters are subjected to by the trans community and its allies once they stop identifying as trans. All the praise and lavish given to them when they identified as transgender turns into complete lack of empathy and disgust just for the crime of deciding that maybe transitioning just didn't work out for them.
Oh and that girlofswords troon has a complete hateboner for real women. Lmao, he's full of misogynist salt. Does he think that detransitioners make "careers" off of this? Many of them decided to undergo surgery when they were teenagers and uncomfortable with being female. I thought the "trans experience" was different for every body, no? Jokes aside, AGPs tend to get turned on by things they view as female exclusive experiences - in Anne Lawrence's Men Trapped In Men's Bodies there's an AGP who described getting turned on by being the only guy in an all female group and him feeling like they're treating him like one of them. AGPs basically can get "gender euphoria" (boners) from really mundane shit that they interpret as an exclusive female experience or really gross shit like Yaniv's obsessions with tampoons.

Mild drama on Reddit now that r/place is happening. Someone (apparently 4chan) was attacking the giant tranny flag they placed and feelings are starting to get hurt. If this lasts multiple days it could cause some whining from Reddit troons.
(If you’re confused, once a year Reddit does an event that allows users to place a colored pixel on a giant board once every five minutes. Groups work together to carve out territory and make pixel art or flags. Of course, trannies always make a giant trans flag and get pissy when people fill in the pixels).
Edit: lol during the night someone wrote ‘41%’ above the flag.

Late but a guy I know came as trans about a year ago. He wasn't secretly seeking medical help because he's been very open about his transition (telling people when he's having his first appt etc).
Few months ago, he got his nuts chopped off. Free of charge, thanks to socialized medicine.
So this wait list shit of years might be accurate in some places but it's not what happens in every area

Not that there isn't possibly some ulterior motive, but again its useful to remember that transition surgeries were actually considered a solution to the problem of homosexuality for a long time. The prevalent theory of what a gay person was up until the mid 20th century was that they were literally trapped in the wrong body (they were said to have inverted sexes). Trans people have been able to transition fully in the UK since 2004, from an EU court ruling, and even before then you could change your gender on a bunch of different documents, even if you sex stayed the same on your birth certificate. SRS became publicly funded in 1999, because it was recommended by the medical establishment as a solution. They can talk about breaking the gender binary all they want, the the concept of transness is a way of processing gender variant behavior in a way that maintains the gender binary as inherently inviolable. If you aren't acting like a normal man or women, it must mean that you aren't one. Society was actually way more comfortable with the idea of butch lesbians and effeminate gay men being the opposite gender than they were with gender variance in general.
So it's interesting that the backlash is occurring now. part of it is increased prominence, but I think it's also the revving up of the incel-troon pipeline is producing more AGPs by the year. The more prominent trans groups become, the more the inherent misogyny present in a lot of them becomes apparent. The revving up you're seeing occurring is bottom up, it's way more people getting the social contagion forcing a rethink of what was previously in much of the west, actually not a controversial procedure.
It's hard for me not to connect it to the internet too, in the same way other fetishes have exploded. You essentially have the ability for susceptible people to be groomed and ensnared anywhere on earth now. I don't think modern troondom could have existed without Tumblr in particular. This is also where you see younger and younger people being trooned out, which is the other red flag scaring people.
E: Also, in previous decades, I feel like the homosexual men and women who transitioned tended to shy away from the spotlight. I know the first Canadian to get SRS and have their gender confirmed by the court quietly married and basically vanished from the public eye afterwards. And she was trying really hard to pass most of the time. Now you have troons who seem to revel in looking weird or standing out. It's easier to ignore the oddly manly women who keeps to herself and dresses normal than the full bearded troon in a giant toddler outfit posting nudes on the internet.

Family doctors are to be paid for prescribing hormones to transgender patients, in the first scheme of its kind in the UK.
Under the programme, which was launched yesterday, GPs in Sussex will get £178 a year for every adult to whom they prescribe “cross sex hormone therapy”. They will also be able to claim an extra £91 a year for providing an annual health check to a transgender, non-binary or intersex (TNBI) patient.
The scheme, which also requires staff to take training in transgender healthcare, is aimed at reducing the high rates of long-term physical and mental health problems in TNBI patients and improve their low levels of satisfaction with NHS care. Trans rights campaigners welcomed the programme. Patients referred to gender identity clinics (GICs) face waits of years, after referrals soared 240 per cent in five years.
The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust in northwest London is offering first appointments to people who were referred in December 2017.
Concerns were raised, however, that medicines could be provided without appropriate psychological support for patients and add to pressure on GPs.
A document, seen by The Times, says that the Sussex scheme is “not designed to promote the initiation of hormonal treatment in general practice”.
It says that it aims to provide “interim support” to patients on the gender clinic waiting list and “improve access” to hormone therapy.
Trans men may be given hormones, such as testosterone, to help with masculinisation while trans women get hormones such as oestrogen to help with feminisation.
The document adds that any decision to start hormone therapy is “at the discretion of the individual GP”.
Debbie Hayton, a transgender advocate who transitioned in 2012, said that the scheme would lead to more patients starting on GP-prescribed cross sex hormones “even if it’s not the intended outcome”. She described the new scheme as “desperate measures for desperate times”.
Hayton questioned the level of psychological support in the scheme. “When I transitioned I had an hour with a therapist every week for months,” she said. “That’s what I needed to understand myself. An annual review is a pale shadow of that.” Doctors will also have to monitor patients and carry out blood tests to ensure they are taking treatments safely.

To receive payments, participating surgeries are required to compile a register of anyone considered to be TNBI.
The scheme will initially run for three years across Brighton and Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex. Participating GPs must undertake two and a half hours of online training.
Sasha Misra, an associate director at Stonewall, said: “With enough capacity and training, schemes like this could ensure trans people can access the specialist care they need in their local community and without the lengthy wait.”
Zara Aziz, a Bristol GP, said she was concerned that the scheme would add to doctors’ workload, with capacity already “strained”. She said: “It feels like . . . this is being handed over to GPs with a training package and off you go.”
Professor Martin Marshall, chairman of the Royal College of GPs, said that family doctors had an important role in delivering care to trans patients.
Setting out its reasons for launching the scheme, Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups said that research showed “the most frequently suggested action for improving healthcare for trans people was an increase in awareness training within primary care”.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Commissioners said: “Transgender, non-binary and intersex (TNBI) people experience significant health inequalities — something we are committed to tackling.”
Finally this is not unique to Trans, it's also pushed in other areas of health, such as Diabetes in some cases making the patients health worse causing cancers etc..
