Is his tweet about Meigh’s doctors being happy for her to continue unassisted in labour for up to 48 hours after her waters broke standard US obstetric care? UK obs get very iffy about failure to progress once waters break. If you have a spontaneous break you are really on the clock then before they section you. If you are having an induction of labour, they won’t manually break your waters until you are at least 4 cm dilated because they are very leery of the potential for infections. Are US hospitals ok with you having waters broken for up to 48 hours?

None of this makes sense. Ralph announced she was in labor then hours later said her water broke.

Your water can break and labor doesn’t immediately start, it’s not common, but it happens. Usually if your water breaks labor starts rather soon, but no more than a day or two. You pretty much have to get the baby out at the within 3 days of water breaking to be safe. They will induce or do a c-section if her water has broken and she’s not in active labor by Monday.

However real labor doesn’t start and then stop, esp if it started and then the water breaks - you will give birth within 24 hours in that scenario. The launch keys have been set. Labor, water breaks, active labor, baby delivered is a normal progression. Real labor doesn’t stop once it begins, if real labor suddenly stalls the baby is in danger.

This could all be because Ralph hasn’t bothered to know anything about childbirth and is miscommunicating what’s happening or it’s Pantsu creating fake drama or both.

Given Ralph’s reaction he obviously thought it was some gay ops by old Pantsu party.

Pregnancy is measured from the first date of the last period (assuming a 28 day cycle with 14 days between the start of the cycle and ovulation) not from conception. Basically you're considered 2 weeks pregnant before you conceive. So she's 34 weeks.
