It's really strange to see the President of a country who has the majority of his soldiers surrounded facing annihilation or surrender telling the other side to give up and surrender. I know it's just propaganda but it's so fucking far away from the truth and it's just another piece of evidence that faggots in the west will use to think the Ukrainians are winning. Some of these faggots on twitter or reddit really might kill themselves when Russia wins and Zelinskiy is hanging from a lamppost. They are so invested in this and believe things that are so detached from reality.

Chinese MREs are still low in numbers compared to other military of similar size simply because the PLA has next to none foreign activities
And the request for MRE was done along with the request for other military supplies, so its most likely for their military. The corruption and messy logistics is so bad you can still find military rations marked "NOT FOR SALE" being sold on the Russian version of E-Bay while the war is still going on

This'll cripple the Russian war machine! I saw they also sanctioned more individual Russians. I don't understand why, those people can't import anything from a western country. Or even if they found something they could, nobody will be taking rubles for it. Or even if they did, you'd need to physically mail the cash to whomever you were buying it from. It just seems like a personal sanction on top of that is overkill.

I think you're thinking in terms of what you want to be true, VS what is most likely true. Rations are really not that hard to mass-produce, and even if there was a shortage, they'd just send canned food out to the front to supplement any shortage. They've likely asked suppliers not to sell MREs on the civilian market and to instead stockpile them in case a war does kick off with the US which would mean all of the production facilities would get JADAMed. Likewise, Russia hasn't even deployed the majority of its military so it's not like they're running on fumes and are desperate to take anything they can. Additionally, the only logistical problems that we know for a fact they've had have been in actually getting shit to where it needs to go. Getting more supplies from China wouldn't help with this, since they'd just be stuck too if it was that bad unless China directly delivered them to the front lines where they are needed.
It's funny because even if this wasn't just bluster, it would still be retarded since if his goal is to get Russia to withdraw, inciting them further would not be a wise move.

I feel like there needs to be an asterix of "Russia isn't indiscriminately bombing the fuck out of Ukraine and wiping out thousands of civilians" when talking about this invasion. A genocide makes it near impossible to ever fully control Ukraine after they take it, whereas selective strikes with minimal civilian casualties at least allows random zoomers hiding in their basement to go "whatever, cyka blyt I guess"
Personally I don't see it ever making it to day 30. While Ukraine isn't exactly a first world country it's not a third world shithole either, once food supplies run low it's going to just completely collapse.

So, the prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Poland are traveling to Kyiv to meet with Zelensky.
These people are nuts! Why would you travel to an active warzone? Sure, Putin most likely will not intentionally target them since that will be an act of aggression towards NATO. Maybe the Russians will avoid bombing or actove combat in Kyiv today to avoid unintentionally harming the prime ministers?

Idk, I'd think they could hold out for at least a month even if the cities they're holding on the fronts are taken in the next couple of days. Russia will still have to reconsolidate its forces after the sieges are over in preparation to move on to its next objectives. Urban combat takes a long ass time because pretty much every room of every building that hasn't just been leveled has to be cleared.

It's a trick to allow them to send supply planes at the same time with Russia unable to shoot any down in case they trigger WW3.
I really hope Russia just shoots down any non Russian plane that enters the airspace for the sheer drama, even though I'll probably be burnt to a crisp once I start laughing.
