Because I don’t believe they were ever fully intended just for children to consume. After fucking My Little Pony and shows like Adventure Time, there’s been this growing demographic of “post-ironic” adult-geared cartoons playing under the guise of a regular kid’s show with all these hi-larious references and humor completely blowing over the head of the average child viewer. It’s no surprise that these people are so vocal about it, because they’re the target demographic: lonely autists with more time and Twitter-use than common sense. No child is going to write a think-piece on the pan-sexual gender-fluid undertones of an alleged children’s cartoon, but these fuckwits have all day to pick apart the lore and subtext while actual kids are watching talking dogs fart and/or pee.

Huh this makes sense. I don't really watch cartoons anymore, but whenever I hear about them, they really don't sound like stuff made for kids. Whenever I heard someone sperg about Steven Universe it almost sounded like a fucking soap opera and I kept hearing bullshit about abusive lesbian relationships and whatnot whenever they weren't cooming all over the place for some weirdly drawn midget.
Now, here's the kicker: I don't go into spaces that discuss cartoons. Someone always starts linking a video or something and sperging about it. And it's always a genderspecial or troon. At some point I was sick of the fucking thing.
I think what kids actually consoom is like stuff with puppy cops or whatever. Don't see troons sperging about those. (Please don't prove me wrong I don't think I am ready)

Thats just the fandom dude, Adventure time was one of the best cartoons that ever aired on CN i loved it and owl house seems decent, the only one that is really like that is Steven universe. And what the hell is black coded?! theses keep inventing terms.

But I said I don't watch cartoons. I'm sorry, I'm too old for that shit. I'm just an observer of people doing weird shit and bringing it up for no reason and in places where it doesn't even belong.
Either way when fandoms of everything get infiltrated by troons that's the optics that happen. They do ruin everything, don't they?
As for terms like black coded...I don't know. I shouldn't have to know really. If I had to make a guess it's for when a character isn't human but has stereotypical black guy mannerisms or looks? I'm grasping at straws here.

Edit: This guy's feed is truly something else.
