The thing that always gets me about these "follow trans women" (or whatever) posts is that they're always insipid. The target audience is presumably allies, right? So it'd make sense to say something like "Here's some great trans creators who are making art, doing photography, creating funny short videos" etc. Then you can boost trans created content and hopefully funnel money towards trans creators.

Instead everyone listed is an "activist", "model" and/or "writer" (two guesses for what they write about). But the allies already get their activism from accounts like this, right? So the point of this list is to... get allies to follow more activism content and clog their feeds with random photos of trans women? What's the point?

I've discussed this before but my theory is that a lot of the people that join the US military are lost and searching for identity.

I can't even count the number of depressed, worthless morons who are bitching online about wanting to kill themselves one week, and by the next they've joined the military.

They're looking for an easy mode on life and the military makes itself seem like that. Free education! Health care! Someone telling you what to do all the time so you don't even have to think for yourself! It's heaven! And you get to be a hero that people will be begging to fuck, and your family will be required to love!

But then they get in there and realize it's actually harder than a game of COD, so they either drop out in a year or soak up the cruelty and stick it out for a decade. Either way, they realize it sucks and it doesn't gain them all the pussy and love they were so desperately hoping for.

Anyway my point is mid nineties, in the Netherlands, they already knew damn well the longer term effects of puberty blocking and all these shit bags need to be put against the wall even if the did develop methods to mitigate the damage.
