CSA and homosexuality was being discussed a while back, and i felt like throwing in my two cents. basically we know a majority of pedos are men (there are female pedos but they are exceedingly rare at 0.4-4%) and over 80% of reported victims of pedos are girls. a gay male pedo is unlikely to attack a young girl obviously, and i think young boys who are already identifiably gay probably face ostracization from peers and might have parents that also disdain or reject them, leading them to be easier targets for gay pedos and probably preferable over straight boys. not to say that gay pedos don’t attack straight boys but they probably prefer victims they can identify as sharing their sexuality who have little or no social support systems. one thing a lot of victims of CSA and young gay people have in common is that they are often lonely (which an evil adult can take advantage of). so to sum up i don’t think being attacked by a pedo turns you gay, i think being a young gay man puts you more at risk of being hurt by a pedo for a variety of reasons.

I wasn't going to sperg on this because it's not directly relevant to this thread, but two thingss people should be aware of:


1) A large randomized study searched for a link between homosexuality and child abuse, and found at best a tiny, tiny higher incidence when the study design was to control for the directionality in the effect. That is to say, it seems that being a homosexual child is much more likely to be predictive of being targeted for child abuse, then child abuse is to be causative of homosexuality.

2) Pedophiles who target young boys are often otherwise heterosexual in their sexual encounters, often having wives and partners. These would be the ones known as regressive pedophiles, as opposed to fixated ones where the paraphilia is so strong they focus exclusively on it. And it's almost always the case that the pedophile is a trusted member within the family or community, not the homosexual lurking in the bushes.

In Cracker Barrel, the "general store" is right next to the check-out & you can also pay your restaurant bill there. Its is customary for 1-2 ppl hang around to shop & maybe pick up Disney DVDs, gospel/county CDs, pork rinds, salt-water taffy, t-shirts, patriotic dresses in basic S-M-L sizes, etc... as the rest of the noisy family/in-laws go out to the parking lot.
This is how he managed to get this particular flag dress when nobody was looking & why it fits so bad.

If he goes there to eat, he is a baptist & forced to go there after church, lines of white baptists are all over the parking lots & you can hear the country/gospel music blaring from as far away as the freeway exits. These are Nascar people, US GOP church folks big time & this troon is right in the thick of it, which is why he has to take this photo in either his basement or garage, where his baptist Sunday school teacher-wife and/or fundie brats won't find him. He couldn't even afford any hosiery, those are probably his own cheap athletic socks & his wife's or daughter's shoes. There was a, now deleted, thread about this on the Steam forums. 90% of the games are 'made by women' in that either a majority of the team was women, the game features major women characters (regardless of developer) and then a handful from actual female devs.
