I can't believe the rabbit hole with Bimbo Politics goes this deep. I knew Bailey as this person who helped Dan Olsen post CP to 8chan and was accused of being a rapist. He did indeed, as evidenced by his whining about coordinated review bombs and getting on the cross about the director being a woman (maybe a black woman? I forget) ... but I see no reason to be more fair-minded to Bob than he is to anyone who pisses him off.

So two things:

One, Russia is mostly in Asia therefore, by pure definition, Russians could be considered Asians. Yes that is me being a bit of a pedant but that's only because of issue number

Two, The Wall Street Journal is not calling Putin a chink, nor a slope, nor a slant. They are not trying to hide his "whiteness". No where in the example given are they saying "Putin is ASIAN, actually!" crying laughing emoji. They are calling him a marauding barbarian, hell bent on conquest. They are comparing him to Genghis Khan. It's right there in the sub heading. It's called a simile you stupid, stupid ape.
 
Brainless Bobby thinks similes are a type of crepe, though he'd call it a pancake, you cover in cream cheese stewed in Dr. Pepper for a week to add a picante vibe to it.

Whether Russia sees itself as an European state or an Asian one has been a huge historiographical debate. Russia's rejection of serfdom, steps towards embracing democracy and later communism were all seen as Russia rejecting its partial Asian heritage and becoming European. There was a lot of racial essentialism involved in that, since it was the olden days, things like Russia's conflict with Japan was seen as "too Asian" for a proper European society. (Ignore that both were chasing Europe in imperialism. And the irony of the horror that was World War I coming a few years later should not be lost here.) Without reading the article I'm going to assume that's what WSJ is referencing. The Russians also have a history of claiming things as "Russian" that weren't like Genghis Khan's empire. The Star Trek trope of Chekov doing this for things that are clearly not Russian is a reference to this.

Of course, Bob, then goes even deeper into American-centric racial essentialism and declares Russians to be obviously "white" since he only recognizes skin color as an ethnic difference, something the rest of the world doesn't do.

I’ve seen blue checkmarks claiming that The Batman has pissed off a segment of the fandom, but never any evidence to support it. The film currently has a 90% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and the one star reviews were from normies complaining about the length,

Which is not much different than my frequent comparisons regarding Moviebob and Hitler in terms of their political mindsets. If I were to list all of the latter two's parallels, I'd be repeating stuff I've said many times since joining KiwiFarms this past summer.
