Tbh I've been more and more distrustful of every news source available to me, except for this thread and Jewsh. It's not a blind trust, it's more of I understand the filtering process the information goes through on the farms and it's pretty reliable. /pol/ had a similar effect but that hasn't been the case since at least 2015. Can't wait for KF to grow and get targeted by CTR and IDF
 
I know I'm seemingly circling the kryptonite of "trust the plan" but it makes me sit and thunk when in 2015 Putin started threatening that he would release satellite evidence that the US was involved in 9/11 and there has always been the chatter that the Russians have all 33,000 of Hillary's "destroyed" emails.

Again, there's more to this than friggin Ukrainians nobody in Washington or the corporate world give a shit about.

They are relevant to getting Democrats elected and turning some deep blue states and cities into shitholes, beyond that they don't fully get what they fully want these days or even before.

Wheat exports are only part of the problem (though Russia and Ukraine combined account for nearly 30% of the world's supply so it's a big problem), Russia is a major producer of fertiliser so the sanctions are going to impact other countries ability to produce their own food. Prices are about to go up for everything.

I don't think the gripe is one concerning the effectiveness of such a measure. I think the gripe is the extreme short-sightedness of the entire endeavor and how it does not achieve whatever nebulous goal the people doing it think they are achieving.

The goal, in my opinion, is to cause revolt among Russian citizens, and therefore against the government, without needing to commit any actual manpower bar the cunts that are stuck in the offiices cancelling contracts.
