I didn't expect to do this myself, but yeah, here's a full autopsy of this video:
1. Darrick isn't even sure he knows if he's using the word immersion right for this concept his destroyed via THC brain wants to elaborate on.
2. Darrick doesn't remember the paypig, but remembers the terms verisimilitude and suspension of disbelief maybe being better fits.
3. Darrick then tries to define what the words immersion, verisimilitude, and what suspension of disbelief are, and what they mean to him and his games. And yes, it's off the top of his head, because fuck planning lol smoke weed erryday.
4. Darrick wants to let the thought train go home and then accidentally again reveals that on some level the games are still real to him damnit.
5. Darrick defines verisimilitude correctly, since he's glancing at the definition off screen. For those wondering its "appearing to be true", which in literature means "The characters and people are reacting in response to a situation how they should".
5b. For example, a hotheaded character who dislikes a person might challenge them to a fight if they feel wronged, a shy person likely will clam up and get anxious if forced to speak to a crowd. Little things like that.
6. Darrick fails to grok why this word might have value to a DM, instead muttering "what if it intentionally goes beyond what true or real beyond our perspective"
7. Darrick then falls back to his excuse whenever you call him out on poor planning "it's gonzo", for his example on why this doesn't work.
7b. Translation: he wants a thing to happen because lolrandomfunny, but is nettled when people point out how little it makes sense.
8. Darrick's example of "gonzo" is having the Kool-aid Man burst in through the wall to talk with the party as his example, because of course it is.
8b. Darrick scoff/snorts and denies it as true or real. Ironically, having the Kool-Aid Man burst in through a wall still follows verisimilitude from an out of character point of view, since we the audience expect certain behaviors from him; busting down a wall is one of them.
9. Darrick defends that this could totally happen in an RPG guys, and sure. You know what also can happen Darrick? I could make your sword and armor out of rubber and force you to get bouncy balled to death, no save, no rhyme or reason. A good setting still requires internal logic dummy.
10. So in short, Darrick doesn't like being corrected by a fan, misconstrues what he means because

, and then denies that an internal truth for character actions isn't what he means. Likely because he can't be consistent with characters.
11. Darrick then defines suspension of disbelief on his phone, which is allowing one's self to ignore real world logic due to the logic in a fictive work.
11b. A good example of that would be in Full Metal Alchemist, they can actually make alchemy work and do it in combat, but there's rules set such as equivalent exchange, and it's truly easier to rearrange material there already rather than transmute. It gives us an internal world logic. As long as the setting follows those rules, or breaks them and gives us reason for how they did, then we're good.
12. Darricks last two braincells violently heat up as he hmms and hawws for seconds on end trying to understand how this could relate to a setting.
13. "I'd like to think that from a certain perspective that the world, the characters, the game, IS REAL... but not real to us in an objective reality"
13b. Yep, you heard it here first, Darrick did so much damage to himself due to drugs he lowkey does believe in the merge. He honest to god thinks cartoons and his player games are real.
13c. So yes, with Darrick, Mazes and Monsters is a very far out game man.
14. Darrick rambles through basic life tasks that a person does in their day-to-day, and then uses fucking quotations when referring to it as real. He likely is playing his delusions down for the new audience then.
15. "What if these adventures are real?" ~ Darrick Dishaw
16. Seriously, he's going full Mazes and Monsters here.
17. Correction: Darrick is going FULL FUCKING CHRIS-CHAN HERE. He genuinely thinks that they all are real but unreachable.
17b. He may be boring, but I'm fully fucking awake now.
18. Darrick admits when he plays games, he starts disassociating and hallucinating. This is getting more and more hilarious and sad.
19. Darrick has admitted his mental state's getting worse as he believes his delusions are growing stronger. I believe this is because he hides in a hugbox and only listens to asskissers now which reinforce his delusions.
20. Darrick's insane babble ends with him believing he defined suspension of disbelief and how it works... lolno.
21. Darrick gives the literary definition of immersion, which is a person is heavily and mentally involved in a story. His definition includes that "it feels like we're already there".
21b. So the reason Darrick uses Immersion as his description for why his version of DnD is so much better is because it validates his delusions that he can leave the thought plane and enter his tentacle clown rape pregnancy dungeon.
21c. It also allows him to be right, since it's clear his paypig suggesting new terms from a sane and authorial point of view got under his skin.
22. Darrick is using the royal we as he crows about how his delusions can be hidden under this term that he agrees with, or he just assumes all of his piggies will agree.
23. Darrick literally can't tell the difference between when a dude is hyped he can play Daugav of the North, the great Dwarf Ranger, and having him believe he IS Daugav of the North, the great Dwarf Ranger.
23b. This is why you don't fucking toke if you have schizophrenia in the bloodline kids; THC can trigger that shit.
24. Darrick unironically believes that DnD works like Chick Tracts or his shit interpretation of the Left Hand Path where your actions bring forth reality.
25. If I played Cha'alt with an eye for immersion; I'd probably just play Dark Sun instead tbh. It's about the same thing but 10k times better.
26. Darrick admits he uses gaming for escapism. This is fair, but then again he genuinely also keeps saying he wants it to be real, he wants to escape this life.
26b. Maybe take some therapy and lay off the weed son, that THC ain't doing you good.
27. Darrick then tries to pretend he doesn't hate people who play DnD for fun by saying he agrees, BUT that doesn't allow him to hallucinate tentacle raping women because his wife forced him to stop swinging.
28. Darrick admits he wrote notes, but didn't do it for his main part of the video. He also desperately struggles to read his own fucking notes. GG.
29. It devolves into him trying to justify his drug and latent psychotic hallucinations and fetishes being real.
29b. "Just because we collectively can see it doesn't exist doesn't mean it's not real" the lunatic posts, not aware that he doesn't come off as a philosopher but as a mental case needing anti-psychotic drugs and therapy.
30. Darrick knows what his tentacle looks, feels, and smells like.

31. Darrick then wheelspins repeatedly over how his setting is real but it's not real; a real violent fight between his last two brain cells exists.
32. Darrick spends a large portion of his day imagining what tentacles feel like, repeatedly and endlessly.
33. Darrick immediately zigzags after again circularly trying to imagine his shit settings as real and about to hit the merge to Rick and Morty.
33b. Admittedly you do need a high IQ to parse what this clown has to say. Or a fine tooth comb.
34. Haha, Darrick changed his example since he got burned by me mocking he's a consoomer most likely.
35. His next pick is of course the Chronicles of Amber, which deals with the same concepts that he wants to be real such as making things real with your mind as well as there being other dimensions.
36. Basically he's trying to claim that Rick and Morty or the Chronicles of Amber is how our universe works; as one in a crowd of many.
36b. He also then describes how we're stuck until the science, magic, and quantum physics (which is different from science somehow) allows us to enact the merge.
37. Darrick gets sanpaku eyes as he desperately tries to make you believe him, that his tentacle clown rape dungeon is real. The tentacles are real. IT'S ALL REAL
38. You can see the other places if you PLAY IF YOU IMMERSE. YOU CAN TAKE A BUS TO GET TO HIS CRAZYLAND. CHA'ALT IS REAL HAHAHAHA
38b. Seriously, Darrick is not stable. He's not sane. The pot activated his latent schizophrenia.
39. Darrick wraps up his babble with the same statements he's made for the last 4.5 minutes, and you just know that he takes all things he heard as a kid literally.
39b. He took DM is god literally, he took authors describing their setting as another world literally, he takes everything literally. Don't do drugs kids.
This man is not well in the head.
