There's always a small part of me that thinks that some lolcows are fake and playing the long con. Jace and Tyce kind of cemented that thought in my mind, where I first thought it was fake and then I was convinced it was real, like a lot of people here.

Wu's a con artist who bought completely into the con because to divorce themselves from it would destroy the image they built for themselves. In this case, Wu cannot admit what everyone already knows because the image he built as part of the con has become, to some extent, what Wu really wants to believe, so Wu will never admit the truth even to himself, because doing so would be self destruction in more than one way.

@Jaimas, I highly recommend adding this stuff to Wu's article.
